FLASH (1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse)

Description

FLESH LLC together with BGS Solutions company successfully completed the project on automation of a warehouse based on a system "1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse" based on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.

In 2008 in the village of Belogorodka the FLESh company finished construction of a new warehouse, of 3186 sq.m. In premises bezpylevy floors are laid, warehouse spaces are equipped with universal racks and the high-rise loading equipment. For goods acceptance two gate are used, for shipment - three and some collars are used both for acceptance, and for shipment.

The retail range makes about 10000 active positions. Shipment of goods from a warehouse averages 50-65 documents a day. Account of the movement of goods is kept by batches and characteristics, ABC and XYZ of classification. The nomenclature of the corporate accounting system is ready furniture which is stored in a warehouse in packagings according to packing lists. Packs with different weight and dimensional characteristics can be a part of the packing list. Depending on package sizes keep within on different pallets.

Project Tasks

The main objectives which were set by FLESh company within the project of automation:

• Reduction of time of goods acceptance.
• Localization of goods in a warehouse on the basis of belonging to nomenclature group.
• Reduction of time of selection of goods according to the order.
• Reduction of time of carrying out inventory.
• Reduction of quantity of errors in a warehouse.
• Possibility of obtaining operational data on a warehouse status.
• Integration with the corporate accounting system.
• Time recording and control of accomplishment of warehouse transactions on each worker.
• Reduction of dependence on "a human factor".

Project manager from "BGS Solutions" Nikita Berezovsky: "Certainly, it was very pleasant to us to learn that our specialists will implement 1C Logistics in a warehouse of the FLESH LLC enterprise. The project promised to be especially interesting thanks to in a warehouse of a large number of types a pallet and also need of implementation of accounting for two instrumentation systems by finished products and a section of packagings according to packing lists".

The project started on March 1, 2008. The first stage was preproject inspection during which features of warehouse business processes at the Flesh LLC enterprise were described and the list of completions to the standard solution "is made by 1C Logistics: Management of a warehouse". So, in particular, the automation system was complemented with the following functionality:

• the acceptance accounting mechanism, and shipments of ready furniture with control of integrity of data on products is implemented according to packing lists;
• the mechanism of placement of packagings taking into account specifics of an address space and need of localization of goods on nomenclature groups and also on turnover of products is implemented;
• data exchange with a corporate information system is configured;
• the mechanism of consolidation of a warehouse taking into account specifics of the stored products is developed.

Control of a warehouse complex is exercised from two jobs of users for which training is provided and also detailed instructions are developed for storekeepers, operators and system administrators.

On May 10, 2009 operation of a warehouse complex using "1C Logistics began: Management of warehouse 8". As a result of system implementation all warehouse transactions are automated, it is controlled onto task performance by warehouse workers, data exchange with a corporate information system is implemented. The implemented system allows to obtain analytical information on a status of a warehouse with any detailing and grouping. Flexible configurations of reports satisfy the majority of requirements of the enterprise in terms of information analysis.
