The Oracle corporation announced in May, 2011 release of Oracle Retail Merchandising Analytics — the ready-made analytical solution for the retail companies designed to increase efficiency and to optimize quality of decision making.

According to developers, Oracle Retail Merchandising Analytics uses the ready Oracle Business Intelligence Applications analytical applications that allows to receive and analyze data from different sources: management systems for finance, personnel, customer relations (CRM) and merchandising. The new solution integrates performance indicators which are crucial for the retail companies, such as sales volumes, efficiency of shops, efficiency of promotion actions and sales, turnover of warehouse stocks, trends of sales and profits in dynamics and also possible situations of lack of goods on shelves.

Thanks to dynamic intellectual panels users get access to information, most important for business, that allows to do orders of missing goods, to redistribute stocks or to start promotion actions, says Oracle. Using such "leading analysts" there is an opportunity to react quicker to information displayed in the report or on a dashboard. Reports can be output to mobile devices and desktop computers in different formats that is provided due to use of a technology platform of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.
