Start of Project
In large wholesale and retail network "NOVEKS" the project on implementation of the set-up solution novaRetail based on the ERP system of SAP for Retail of consulting company CIBER Russia began spring of 2011.

"NOVEKS" used to a management system for S-Market trade enterprise, however she did not meet requirements of promptly developing network any more and does not provide planned targets of growth of the company. Problems are connected both with insufficient system performance, and with lack of a part of the functionality necessary for large trade organization. The business growing from year to year demanded improvement of quality of management and business process optimization what the decision on change of strategy of automation and the choice of scalable and functional solutions of SAP company was connected with. As the strategy of automation the NOVEKS company selected a way of the implementation preconfigured the solution novaRetail of CIBER Russia company which includes in addition to the main functionality of SAP for Retail, additional business processes, specific to the Russian retail networks.
When choosing novaRetail an important factor for NOVEKS company was what this solution proved as the effective IT tool which is successfully used in the retail companies worldwide (among them – Kingfisher, UNIQLO, Kinhom, Embry Form, La Maison, Alpha Retail, Dunelm Mill, Laithwaites, EVER Supermarket and others). Besides, the CIBER company in Russia successfully executed implementation of novaRetail for such retail networks as Victoria Group, Network of Shopping Centers "Your House", National retail network "Ol! Buzzing", Mosmart Group and retail network "MegaFon". The productive start of the project which began in NOVEKS company on December 6, 2010 is planned for August 1, 2011. Project scope includes the following functionality:
- Management of material flows and sale (SAP MM/SD)
- Business processes of retail (SAP for Retail)
- Accounting (SAP FI)
- Sales data management (DM SAP POS)
- Control of mobile terminals of data collection (HHT)
- Integration of processes (SAP PI)
In a project deliverable it is going to improve controllability of NOVEKS company: users of the ERP system of SAP will be able to obtain up-to-date information in real time from unified information environment that will reduce runtime of everyday tasks and will bring to new level quality of work of all employees and the company in general.
Project Completion
The implementation project was implemented from December, 2010 to September, 2011. A pacing factor of a project success was the solid team of professionals both from the customer, and from the contractor, and, the most important, interest in success of the management of "NOVEKS" providing fast decision making on the arising questions.
As a result of the implementing solution novaRetail the NOVEKS company received a single scalable system which changes and grows together with business of the company. At reducing costs for data processing, the quality of the provided information in a system increased. Speed of detection and correction of wrong data increased many times. The quality of management was improved: users of the ERP system obtain up-to-date information in real time from unified information environment that reduces runtime of everyday tasks and brings to new level quality of work of all employees and the company in general.
