BASF (Kaspersky Work Space Security)

Kaspersky Lab began one of the largest implementations abroad, having signed the agreement on five years' cooperation with the German chemical concern BASF.

The agreement provides use of the product Work Space Security for protection of 100 thousand workstations on Windows and Linux in an information network of BASF worldwide.

The companies refused to report what earlier servicing BASF of the supplier of the protective solutions "Kasperskomu" it was succeeded to discharge of the order.

Delivery of protective software to BASF - not the greatest success of Laboratory on a global scale, but as explained CNews in the company, "undoubtedly the largest transaction for the last 2 years both on supply rate, and on duration – five years".

Referring to confidentiality agreements, the anti-virus developer does not report names of the larger foreign customers. The merit in signing of the contract with BASF belongs to representative office of Kaspersky in Germany.

In addition to the present agreement on its account are available the conclusion of transactions on delivery of protective software with the German parliament - the Bundestag, the German iron roads of Die Bahn, the largest network of XXXLutz furniture stores, the Austrian construction company Strabag, Swarovski and exhibition company Messe München International.
