The HP company selects $2 billion for financing of acceleration of cloud implementations, on condition of purchase of its technologies. Customers wait, doubt - the "explosive" technology is not standardized.

At a conference of users in Las Vegas, heads of Hewlett-Packard tried to provide on the big screen implementation of "explosive" cloud computing the same idle time as drag and drop of files to Windows – drag-and-drop. However attendees, looking video demonstration of the workloads declining to work with external provider of "clouds" understand - not so everything simply, at least, not now.

There are questions of deployment and standardization which it is necessary to consider and give answers. Itself HP, detailing the technology, noted the main need for implementation of cloud deployments – money.

HP does not advertize the price of many of its new systems, however reforming of IT shops of the company in pools of the virtual resources adapting to cloud environments will not be cheap. Probably, therefore the CEO of HP Leo Apotheker announced on Tuesday that the company selects $2 billion for the aid to clients, for purchase of its cloud systems.

Irv Rothman, the head of HP of Financial Services (HP subsidiary company), said that the company will use such financial instruments as sale and a leaseback when HP buys assets of the client, then hands over them in a leaseback for a certain period of time. It monetizes assets and provides to clients a certain amount of money, he told.

Attractive aspect of "cloud" for external providers - capability of "explosion" or accumulation of power at the moments of peak loads as required. This technology is considered as less expensive alternative to lease of the place in a rack.

By the end of the year HP is going to start this "explosive" technology and hopes to have the list of suppliers of "clouds" who will be engaged in its sales. The managed Savvis hosting provider will be one of such suppliers, will be announced others in addition.

Shawn Wales who is present at a conference, team member of testing of performance of Deere & Co company, sees not only clear advantages of the "explosive" concept of "cloud", but also questions in its implementation.

He asks a question: whether there will be a standard method of deployment? According to him, development of the standard of deployment of applications in cloud infrastructure a question bigger, than "cloud": "If you have no average level which will provide you it [deployment of applications], or suppliers have no standard, promotion of technology will take a lot of time".

Darius Hakimi, the business development manager of the Norwegian company integrator Atea, told that he wants to obtain more detailed information on "explosive" technology of HP and added: "I think, it is the initial stage therefore, being very careful person, I will probably wait for the second release of technology".
