2014: STC-3518 rev.3

In a line of the equipment Smartec for the systems of security video surveillance there were in December, 2014 analog STC-3518 rev.3 video cameras which are expected video filming at external temperatures up to -40 °C and are equipped with the vandal proof body of dome type with IP66. As basic elements the new dome camera uses high quality matrix and the processor of Sony company, supports the day/night mode at the hardware level and the program WDR function for compensation of raznokontrastny areas. High protection of STC-3518 rev.3 against mechanical influences is provided by the shock-resistant metal body and a polycarbonate dome of the video camera which maintain loadings to 656 kgfs. Thanks to such level of protection, the dome camera can be installed for video control on objects with the increased probability of commission of acts of vandalism. Besides, the dome body corresponds to a class a heat / vlago-protection of IP66 and is supplied with the heater at the expense of what STC-3518 rev.3 is capable to function steadily in street conditions in the temperature range from -40 °C to +50 °C.

Use of the latest processor of image processing of Sony Effio A and CCD array of Sony 960H of EXviewHAD II allows to use new video cameras to video control with the broad range of illumination levels, including at high-contrast lighting and its shortcoming. At the expense of the built-in varifocal lens with aspherical lenses and an autodiaphragm, the STC-3518 rev.3 dome camera creates the high-quality image without distortions and allows to configure a scene of video surveillance in the range of focal distances of 2.8 - 10.5 mm. At the same time image resolution of dome models reaches 720 TVL both 750 TVL in a color and black-and-white transmission mode of video, respectively.

The video camera allows to increase quality of DNR broadcast the image using a number of program functions, including functions of noise reduction 2D and 3D for elimination of the noise video components appearing at the lowered illumination on an object. At the same time the two-dimensional algorithm 2D DNR uses the filter of space removal of noise, and the algorithm 3D DNR "analyzes" the adjacent personnel and eliminates distortions and the most part of noise of the "output" image. Thanks to two systems of noise reduction, the dome camera not only improves visual acceptability of video, but also reduces its "weight", providing economy of disk space of devices of a video. Besides, this dome model allows to use WDR/AGC/BLC/AWB automatic selection functions.

Work in the mode of autoexposure of the day/night video camera at the minimum values of the illumination of 0.03/0.01 lx, and at activation of function slow el. a lock — up to 0.0001 lx. At the same time the speed of an electronic lock can be regulated ranging from 1/50(60) up to 1/100000 seconds depending on the current conditions of lighting. This dome camera performs switching between the day/night modes also automatically at achievement of the exposed threshold of illumination or is forced at the command of the operator of the video system. Besides, STC-3518 rev.3 has a special exit for synchronization of its work with an external IK-searchlight.

For tracking of activities in a frame the new Smartec video camera is supplied with the detector of the movement which reacts to changes in a zone of video control and initiates the notification at emergence of the movement. The important advantage of the video detector which is used by the dome camera is an opportunity "break" a frame into 384 sectors of detection on a grid 24х16 and configure its sensitivity for each of them. At the same time, these dome devices allow to impose on the image up to 15 masks hiding certain zones in a frame from their viewing by the operator.

STC-3690

The lineup of Smartec devices of the ULTIMATE series in September, 2011 was filled up by the STC-3690 day/night outdoor cameras which are equipped with a metal thermocasing with degree a heat and moisture protection of IP66 and reliably function at temperatures up to -40 °C. New products use the CCD array of Sony Super HAD II, the Samsung Winner5 processor, are completed with one of zoom lens from ARD and 3.5-16 mm, 6-50 mm or 10-100 mm, and transfer to a video surveillance system the color/black-and-white image with the resolution up to 600/700 TVL at osveshchennost to 0.15/0.01 lx. Besides, these outdoor video surveillance cameras have an infra-red searchlight with illumination range to 100 m and support functions of stabilization of the image, inversion of bright flares and digital noise reduction.

600/700 TVL new products create the image with high resolution due to use of a 1/3-inch CCD array of Sony Super HAD II and the powerful DSP processor of fifth generation Winner5 of Samsung company. Besides, surveillance cameras have the switched-off IK-filter and transfer informative video without IK-illumination at osveshchennost on an object to 0.15/0.01 lx. At activation of function of accumulation of the personnel of Sens-Up street video surveillance is possible also at osveshchennost to 0.00003 lx. For prevention of spontaneous switchings between the day/night modes at impermanent updates of illumination, outdoor cameras support the Dwell Time function providing a delay of switching from 5 to 60 seconds.

For image enhancement in different conditions of STC-3690 use function of the high dynamic range (SSDR) and adaptive three-dimensional digital noise reduction (SDNR) for obtaining the maximum clearness and high extent of detailing of the image in the conditions of the lowered illumination on object of video surveillance and economy to 70% of disk space of the video recorder on which the video is performed. Also outdoor cameras have the HLC and BLC functions for compensation of a counter or background flare, and digital stabilization of the image of DIS which provides stable street video surveillance without "trembling" of the picture when STC-3690 works at highways, railway crossings, in the territory of industrial enterprises, etc.

Smartec STC-3690 are equipped with an IK-searchlight which, depending on modification of the outdoor video camera, includes 100 or 80 infrared light emitting diodes with the wavelength of 850 nanometers. This IK-searchlight differs in the increased luminous efficiency and provides illumination of objects in a video surveillance zone at distance to 100 m thanks to what STC-3690 optimum are suitable for the round-the-clock video control of perimeters. At the same time effective street video surveillance provides the STC-3690 processor which analyzes the video signal level and adjusts IK-radiation power, and the Smart IR function prevents a flare of the objects which are near the camera. High utilization properties of the new Smartec outdoor cameras are provided by a metal thermocasing with the built-in heater and extent of heat/moisture protection of IP66 which allows to conduct continuous street video surveillance at low temperatures to -40 °C. The fastening bracket with the buried wiring feeding and signal cables and the sun-protection hood preventing direct hit of sunshine in a lens is included in the package of STC-3690. For convenience of setup of the surveillance camera all buttons of navigation are brought to a folding cover.

Possibilities of the camera are supplemented by the hardware detector of the movement which allows to segment area of video surveillance on 8 zones of detection with setup of the size, provision and sensitivity for each zone. In order to avoid viewing by the operator confidential sections of a frame, whether it be a window of residential buildings or other private objects, street models support imposing to 12 private masks on such sections of a frame. Function of digital scaling D-zoom thanks to which STC-3690 are capable to detail image fragments with 16-fold increase allows to provide detailed street video surveillance behind remote objects.

All models of the STC-3690 ULTIMATE series are equipped with the varifocal lens with the automatic iris control (AIC) and IK-correction allowing to expose the required angle of video surveillance and to compensate effect of a smearing effect when changing operation modes "day/night". At the same time lenses of different street models differ in the range of focal distances that street video surveillance with STC-3690 was the most effective on a specific object. In August, 2011 the product line of Smartec was filled up by vandal proof STC-3512 "day/night" video cameras which have the metal body of dome type with IP66, the built-in heater and can continuously work in street conditions at –40 °C — +50 °C. New outdoor video cameras will become the optimal choice for objects with increased requirements to quality and image clarity as they are supplied with a 1/3-inch CCD array of Sony 960H of EXview HAD CCD II and the Sony Effio-E processor. Thanks to such "stuffing", STC-3512 transfer the image with the resolution of 680/700 TVL at osveshchennost to 0.1/0.08 lx and support 2D - noise reduction, WDR up to 52 dB, etc. For setup of the sector of observation of the video camera have 3-axial fastening of the chamber module and the built-in zoom lens of 2.8-10.5 mm with ARD.

The metal STC-3512 body has an indicator of heat/moisture protection of IP66 and is executed taking into account the increased requirements imposed to protection of outdoor video cameras against dust, water and an atmospheric precipitation. Besides, based on the Effio-E processor a number of the functions improving image quality is implemented, in particular, outdoor video cameras support compensation of a counter flare of BLC, amplification control of AGC, an electronic lock, the choice of private zones, etc.

The hardware detector of the movement with setup of level of sensitivity which is used by street STC-3512 models detects movement of objects in the set monitoring zones up to 384 (24×16), than facilitates work of the operator and increases efficiency of video surveillance in general. STC-3014

In May, 2011 the line of the equipment for video surveillance systems of the Smartec trademark was filled up by the new cameras "day/night" STC-3014 of standard design with a modern hardware platform which includes the CCD array of Sony Double-Speed 960H and the latest Sony Effio processor. Thanks to such tandem, this surveillance camera has the high dynamic range of 54 dB, creates the image with the resolution of 680/700 TVL, supports 2D/3D technology of noise reduction and allows to program several values of an electronic lock for different time of day. In addition to it, innovation is supplied with RS-485 the interface for its remote setup.

Installation of STC-3014 on object of video surveillance can be performed on any surfaces by means of corporate brackets of STB-C01 and STB-C02. The source of 12B/24B of permanent/alternating current is necessary for a power supply of the camera, and its power consumption is no more than 3.5 W. As STC-3014 is delivered without lens, to it it is possible to pick up optics, depending on illumination conditions on an object and other requirements. In order to avoid switching at short level variation of illumination, for example, at a short-term counter flare, the surveillance camera uses the Delay Time function which allows to regulate a switching delay up to 4 minutes.

The hardware detector of movement STC-3014 registers moving objects in the field of video surveillance and also allows to distinguish the persons of people getting into the shot (to the 4th at the same time) at which detection on the screen the disturbing message drawing attention of the operator of the video system is displayed. Due to use of E-Zoom technology the new Smartec surveillance camera is capable to increase detailing of objects in a frame. The broad dynamic range of WDR 54 dB in STC-3014 is reached due to automatic adjustment of exposure in the mode of double speed of reading of a matrix. At the expense of hardware WDR, this surveillance camera creates the balanced image even at sharp differences of illumination in a viewing field, for example, with its help it is possible to receive the qualitative image of a human face at strong background illumination when the normal camera fixes only its dark silhouette. In combination with big resolution capability of a matrix and two-level video signal processing of STC-3014 provides the operator of a video surveillance system with the high-quality video record even in difficult conditions of illumination.

STC-3014 creates video with the resolution of 680/700 TVL and uses a broad set of the technologies of image enhancement implemented based on the Sony Effio processor. So, for elimination of noise video components, the new surveillance camera supports technologies of two-dimensional and three-dimensional noise reduction (2D/3D DNR). At the same time the algorithm of two-dimensional noise reduction uses the filter of space removal of noise, and 3D — also the time filter which analyzes the adjacent personnel and eliminates the distortions and noise arising when shooting dynamic scenes.
