ROSBANK uses Zlock in Yekaterinburg now

The SECURIT company announces successful implementation of the DLP solution for protection against information leaks of Zlock in the Ekaterinburg branch of JSC JSB ROSBANK.

Providing the high level of information security is an important priority of corporate strategy of Rosbank according to which specialists of IT department conduct systematic work on strengthening of security of perimeter in all banks of a branch network. One of key tasks in this direction — ensuring safe use by employees of peripheral devices — was solved using Zlock. The implemented solution allowed to limit access for users to removable drives and at the same time to permit use of devices, admissible within the current security policies.

Zlock is a part of a complex of solutions for protection against information leaks of SECURIT DLP. Zlock allows to prevent leaks of confidential information via the peripheral devices connected to external ports (USB, LPT, COM, IrDA, IEEE 1394), internal devices (network interface cards, modems, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, CD/DVD disk drives) and also through printing of documents on local and network printers. Archiving (shadow copying) and collecting of events of Zlock allows to trace all information which registers in the permitted devices and is printed, for the subsequent analysis of possible incidents.

Limit access for users to ports is only half-affairs, it is necessary also to control what corporate documents are copied on the permitted devices and go to printing. Prohibit to use printers at office it is impossible, and information leak can happen also on paper carrier.
