Aplana implemented a management system for development in Eldorado

As a result of implementation of the project unified information environment for business managers, analysts, developers and testers was created, the transparency of the performed operations and the reporting is reached. A system became the powerful tool for supply chain management and merchandising and served acceleration of a goods turnover.

Creation of a single system of management of development on the IBM Rational Jazz platform became a main objective of the project.

Specialists of Aplana were faced by three main units of tasks:

• refining of development process in the organization of the customer and his optimization;
• automation of development process using special work benches;
• effective integration of work benches of creation of the pipeline on development of information systems.

Specialists of Aplana provided smooth system implementation which was started in real use already in the project progress. A system completely automated communications between requirements, the code, tasks and requests, allowed to achieve transparency of maintaining detailed history of all changes. A system accurately reflects violation of completion dates of business requests. Own, more flexible and functional mechanism of mailing of notifications which is completely replacing regular is developed. On all areas the flexible and evident report forms allowing to calculate KPI and to see "narrow" places of process are developed.

Project manager of Aplana company Vladimir Amelin: "In spite of the fact that at our specialists it is already acquired sufficient experiment on implementation of IBM Rational Jazz, many problems in the project progress to us it was necessary to solve for the first time. Earlier we did not face so deep use of this product for change management when attention is paid to any trifle – from excess click at authentication to quite difficult business logic preventing any incorrect actions. As a result the Customer received the powerful tool for effective management of development, and, as a result, successful conducting business processes".
