Relogix opened a warehouse in St. Petersburg, but manages it from Moscow

The logistic operator Relogix (the project of Renova capital fund) brought into commercial operation Manhattan Associates WMS system on leased squares in the new warehouse complex "Utkin Zavod's MLP" in the Leningrad Region.

The Relogix company is going to occupy 55 thousand sq.m of territories and to employ more than 700 people of personnel. The company renders services in safe custody and processing of goods, mainly for the companies of retail, including perfumery goods and goods of deep freezing.

Relogix the first in Russia made a choice for benefit of the WMS system from Manhattan Associates. The first implementation of the WMS system was executed in 2006 in the warehouse Pushkino complex situated near Moscow by forces of the combined team of specialists of Manhattan Associates, the staff of CORUS Consulting company (file) and also IT specialists of Relogix. The warehouse in the Leningrad Region became already the second object of the company working under control of this WMS system, and implementation was executed by the company by own forces, and control of a warehouse is exercised from the data-center located in Moscow.

As a result now a system manages several remote warehouses with a total area of 115 thousand sq.m, with a capacity of 178 thousand pallets and provides execution of operations in 115 unloading and loading gate.

According to the developer, a system supports any international strategy of turnover of products (FIFO, LIFO, FEFO, etc.) and traces up to 25 parameters of the processed load. A system performs and controls all warehouse transactions: acceptance, placement, reservation, complete set, inventory, shipment. At the same time the WMS system offers a number of the technologies of placement of a load allowing to use most effectively warehouse spaces and to minimize runtime of warehouse transactions.

In the closest plans of the logistic company - to equip with the WMS system the opening warehouses in Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod and Samara, having created at the same time the additional data-center.
