March 12, 2015. The NaviCon Group company integrator completed an implementation project of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 system in ITE company.
Prerequisites
In 2009 the IT consultant started system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. For the customer the most relevant task is building of effective customer relations. Therefore the decision on implementation of CRM solution module was made. And specialists of ITE company the standard functionality of the CRM block was finished by joint efforts of a consulting command taking into account specifics of exhibition business and brought into operation.
After end of this stage diagnostics of the customer during which the directions of further system implementation are defined is carried out, estimates of draft cost of works are made.
Development of a task
Business growth, increase in number of clients, the increased requests to high-speed performance of the software required not just accounting system, but the platform for automation of the business processes, most significant for the company, which could be developed gradually, increasing potential. Used in the companies which are seriously finished under specifics of business of the customer of a system, providing conducting the operational accounting connected with sale of participation in exhibitions could not satisfy the increased requirements of the company.
The decision on implementation of the corresponding modules Microsoft Dynamics NAV was made.
Results
In the project progress the following was made:
- the procedure of connection of branches to the single database is simplified (distant employees can work with a system via the browser now, there is no need to set it);
- the classical three-unit architecture is used: a database server - the application server - a client part that allows to lower requirements to the capacity of computers of users;
- seamless integration of the NAV and 1S systems in which operating activities of the company are conducted is configured, risks of data loss or unauthorized access to them when processing primary data in NAV and formation of the accounting and management reporting in 1C are minimized.
Within the project more than 80 jobs are automated.
