The IRISOFT company completed a PDM system implementation project in INTA company.
Background
At the present stage of development of INTA company also solving of tasks of designing of the equipment according to requirements of the Russian customers with accomplishment of strength and gas-hydrodynamic calculations by forces of remote design offices was required to ensure effective functioning of the enterprise for the new principles of Engineering center assuming not formal separation on departments with the organization of document flow between departments, and along with sale.
To the possible solution rather high requirements, including opportunities 3D - modeling, joining with the ANSYS and STAR programs of CCM+ and creation of CAD/CAM/CAE/PDM system were imposed. Besides, the program had to have positive experience of implementation in Russia, a possibility of the organization of joint work with remote design offices and PDM/ PLM- a system.
As a result a choice was made for benefit of the software solution constructed on products CreoElements/Pro and Windchill, the companies PTC.
Solution
The project started in September, 2009 and in October, 2010 the first stage was completed. Initial phase of the project consisted in delivery of jobs of CreoElements/Pro and Windchill. Within a year five jobs of designers and six jobs of Windchill were equipped. Implementation was performed jointly. Specialists of IRISOFT company made setup of the solution and training of specialists INTA, including training in work in Creo Elements/Pro, consultations of users and the administrator of PDM of the Windchill system.
Result
Today the data of developers of the equipment made in CreoElements/Pro are transferred to department of clerks (CAE) who carry out calculations for the Creo Elements/Pro models in a packet of ANSYS and STAR of CCM+.
The functioning CAD/CAE/PDM system allowing to execute in short terms design preparation of production of new products with high quality is result of the first stage of the project. Design of 3D models, carrying out reverse engineering of the created products and management of a product of structure allows to release RKD with high quality due to reduction of errors of design and in the managed terms.
