The Russian Microsoft partners are recognized the best

The Microsoft company named winners of International contest of partner IT solutions of 2011. Their number included also two Russian companies: GMCS and Softline. Both Russian winners were selected by the international expert jury which highly appreciated their projects and achievements in work with customers and in promotion of advanced technologies of Microsoft.

International contest of partner IT solutions is held by Microsoft company annually and is one of global key IT events in which in the different nominations the best Microsoft partners from around the world compete. This year the record number of requests – 3790 on 71 nominations was registered. From Russia on tender 100 descriptions of solutions were submitted. The Russian companies traditionally participate in tender, reach the final with the projects, take prizes and gain the international recognition.

The Softline company in 2011 became world-best in category Software Asset Management (SAM) or ("Management of program assets") in the Market Acceleration Partner of the Year nomination ("The partner of year in market development"), having managed to bypass 35 competitors in a selection tour and applicants for a victory from Germany and the USA in the tender final. The Softline company received a place of honor of the winner and an award for the providing services, best in the class, on management of the broadest set of program assets, for the innovation marketing strategy covering requirements not only the Russian customers, but also clients from other CIS countries and for implementing solutions which increased efficiency of users and reduced costs of customer companies.

In category Microsoft Country Partner of the Year ("The partner of year") of the best the IT and consulting company GMCS was recognized. This award is awarded to the most successful Microsoft partner in each country. This year in Russia the GMCS company was recognized such partner. "The partner of year" the company received an honorary title for outstanding achievements in implementation of complex approach to the solution of business challenges of the customer on the basis of a number of technologies of Microsoft: Microsoft Dynamics, BI, SharePoint, etc. The international jury highly appreciated achievements of the company during the work in the vysokonkurentny markets and implementation of a number of the most difficult projects for customers from the different industries. Achievements of GMCS in the field of power and public sector were especially mentioned.
