NVision Group upgraded network of broadband access of JSC Rostelecom in the Volga Federal District

Nizhny Novgorod, on June 23, 2011. The Nvision Group company completed the next stage of upgrade of network of broadband access (broadband access) in the Internet of JSC Rostelecom in the Volga Federal District.

Project implementation allowed to increase network transmission capacity of communication of JSC Rostelecom in Volga federal district, to increase customer service quality and to expand the list of services and services, such as: IP TV (with an opportunity "video on demand" and technology of group addressing) and voice telephony of VoIP. As a result of the carried-out works the speed of provision of services to subscribers considerably grew - now net surfers can select to themselves tariff plans at access rates in the Internet to 20 Mbps.

Specialists of NVision Group perform upgrade of network infrastructure for the purpose of providing to subscribers integrated data services, voices and video, ensuring high reliability of network functioning with support of agreements on the service level (SLA), fulfillment of requirements of high performance and scalability of network.

Alexey Voronkov, the deputy technical development director of macroregional branch "Volga" noted JSC Rostelecom: "Implementation of this project allowed us to save, and in some regions considerably to expand a subscriber base, to provide the subscribers with a full range of modern telecommunication services, to bring a data network to level necessary for fulfillment of requirements of interoperator interaction and SLA. Now the network of broadband access makes more than 2,000 nodes of aggregation IP/MPLS of network and services more than 1.2 million users".

The director of the branch of NVision Group in Nizhny Novgorod Mikhail Kuznetsov told that "specialists NVision Group developed unique solutions on creation of a core of a transport network, constructed architecture of city and intra-zone networks, implemented technologies of ensuring operability of services and services necessary for subscribers. The macrobranch provides a broad spectrum of the telecommunication services (from traditional telephone communication to the perspective directions) based on advanced technologies. The subscriber base totals more than 4.9 million subscribers of the fixed telephone communication, over 1.2 million users services of broadband Internet access and more than 280 thousand households - subscribers cable and radio cable television.
