The Lomonosov private school develops educational techniques implementing broadband access to network

The Mastertel company starts the telecommunication project at the Lomonosov private school.

Background

Within reforming of telecommunication infrastructure by School the agreement is signed with Mastertel Ltd on telephony delivery, laying of 100 MB of channels to academic buildings, their connection to a single local fiber optic network with a speed 1gbit/sec.

Plans and backlogs

Future plans of educational institution are already submitted: management of school is going to implement video surveillance during the lectures and seminars. Thus, each school student will be able to be present at occupations virtually even if for some reason cannot be in a class. Same will serve as a resource for parents who will have an opportunity to be present at one information space with the children, to monitor educational process.

After connection to a broadband channel the Lomonosov school is going to lift work on system implementation of distance learning to new level. Each pupil, working on the computer with the educational software, during a remote lesson will be able to study the theoretical material illustrated by drawings, photos and animation, to perform practical tasks, to answer questions of tests, to interact with the teacher and schoolmates.

These conversions will allow to increase efficiency of interaction of teachers, pupils, parents and administration of school.
