Implementation of DIRECTUM in Administration of Kostroma began

In City administration of Kostroma implementation of DIRECTUM starts. Upon completion of the project in a system 250 employees of municipal authority will work.

The administration of the municipal entity Kostroma has several managements located in different districts of the capital of the area. So far document flow in all divisions of organization was paper. Growth of volumes of the entering documentation began to slow down accomplishment of the current office tasks essentially recently. In particular, it affected the processes connected with rendering services to citizens. For the complete solution as classical tasks of management of documents and business processes, and tasks which are specific to the public and municipal authorities the task of system implementation of electronic document management was set. According to the results of the choice of an ECM system, the management of organization stopped on DIRECTUM as the simplest in mastering and the convenient solution in operation. Basic modules, modules Office and "Citizens' Appeal and Organizations" using which jobs of the head of administration, his deputies and also a number of divisions of organization will be automated will be included in the delivery of a system:

• document control department and orgrabota;
• control management;
• department of work with citizens' appeals.

First of all to an electronic form it is going to transfer the processes having the high importance for employees and divisions of administration:

• work with the entering and outgoing correspondence;
• pronouncement of resolutions;
• execution of orders of the governor;
• execution of orders of the head of administration;
• acceptance and processing of letters and citizens' appeals and preparation of answers to them.

On the next stage of project implementation all remained divisions of municipal authority will be connected to work in a system. Thus, by the time of transfer of a system to commercial operation on January 1, 2012 the number of the automated employees will reach 250 people. System implementation of DIRECTUM in City administration of Kostroma will allow to reduce volumes of paper documents and to reorganize processes of interaction between employees, to increase their performing discipline and also positively will affect quality and timeliness of the services provided to citizens.
