Network of a video conferencing "Teleport Service"

The Russian developer and producer of the systems of a video conferencing (VKS) TrueConf and operator of satellite communication Teleport-Service developed the new server of video conferences for use in networks of a radio communication, in particular in networks of operators of satellite communication, with capacity of the channel from 64 kbps to 2048 kbps.

Feature of the solution of a video conferencing was system implementation of collecting of statistics which allows the operator of video conference to keep track of activity of users and load of a system and also to estimate the cost of services for subscribers depending on their tariff plan.

Also, considering features of satellite links, the solution allows to set the maximum values of capacity of the entering and proceeding channels which are not exceeded under no circumstances. The solution supports broadcasting on UDP Multicast technology, has installations of prioritizing of traffic (QoS) and the accurate indication of range of network ports for video conference.

Within the joint project on creation specialists "Teleport Service" developed solutions VIDEOCONFERENCING for wireless networks of communication necessary requirements and implemented the solution created on their basis by TrueConf company in own infrastructure.

The network of a video conferencing "Teleport Service" contains four broadcasting studios in the center of Moscow, with a capacity up to 200 people each, and 800 regional telehalls. Video conference between studios will be organized thanks to the server of a multipoint video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) of Codian, Tandberg MXP video systems, the software for the VKS organization created by Teleport-Service company together with the domestic developer of software solutions of video conference of TrueConf ("Videoport") and the special television platform. For the organization of communication the resource of the Intelsat 15 geostationary satellite and hi-tech VSAT SkyEdge terminals from the leading world supplier of the satellite Gilat Network Systems systems is used. Speed of high-speed link on network of a video conferencing "Teleport Service" reaches 1.5 Mbps.
