The Omsk state agricultural university started implementation of EDMS

In the Omsk state agricultural university of P.A. Stolypin (OMGAU) system implementation of electronic document management (EDMS) Euphrates began. Delivery of licenses is provided by DA Technology Technology company.

Realities

For project implementation at DA Technology Technology company the license for simultaneous operation of 130 users, the module "Registrar" and the Fast Start + Templates configuration is purchased.

About the Project

The management OMGAU pays much attention to implementation of modern technologies in management processes therefore the solution EDMS began to implement logical continuation of policy of strategic development of the university. After assessment of several automation systems of document flow and office-work presented at the Russian market, specialists OMGAU selected EDMS "Euphrates". Broad functionality of this system and also ease and flexibility of its setup became the pacing factors which defined this solution.

Plans and expectations

It is planned that with the help EDMS "Euphrates" in OMGAU all document flow, including processes of accounting, the movement, processing and storage of the entering, outgoing and internal documents will be automated. It will allow to systematize information flows of higher education institution and also to reduce number of the routine transactions executed by the staff of the university such as document retrieval, check by duplication, transfer, etc. Thanks to the system of reports, references and magazines the control system of performing discipline of staff of the university will be organized.

It is expected at the same time that as a result of workflow automation OMGAU with the help EDMS "Euphrates" approval of documents of higher education institution will accelerate by 3 — 4 times, and time of their search will be reduced in several tens of times.
