The system of satellite monitoring "Navigator-S" will be used on elections of deputies of the State Duma of the sixth convocation

In June, 2011 election commission of the Tambov region the presentation on a subject took place: "New information technologies in electoral process". Representatives of election commission of the Tambov region, regional departments of political parties and mass media participated in an action.

Opening the presentation, the chairman of election commission of the Tambov region Alexey Puchnin noted that today for ensuring transparency of elections it is necessary to carry out technical retrofitting of an electoral system. For this purpose in electoral processes information technologies are actively used. In an electoral system the State automated system "Elections" has key value. For ensuring the maximum openness in the territory of the Tambov region the system of satellite monitoring "Navigator-S" allowing to control a status of portable ballot-boxes and location of cars of precinct election commissions by means of GLONASS technologies is used.

- The system of satellite monitoring "Navigator-S" is successfully applied several years during the election campaign in the Tambov region, - the commercial director of ENDS-68 LLC Evgeny Palamarchuk comments. – Equipment by the satellite equipment of cars, installation of sensors on opening on figurative boxes serves as additional guarantee of protection against unauthorized access to ballots. At the same time movement of transport all Internet users can see a route. For this purpose it is enough to visit the website of electoral commission only.

Successfully proved on regional elections and the webcams installed on polling precincts. According to representatives of election commission of the Tambov region, on the elections of deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation which are coming on December 4, 2011 in the region ballot paper processing systems for the first time will be used. According to experts, they will allow to reduce significantly time of counting of votes and also to exclude the errors connected with manual calculation.
