Fluke Networks: Network Time Machine

The Fluke Networks company announced in July, 2011 release of the new version of the solution Network Time Machine which represents the complex device with simple automatic connection for instant determination of a source of emergence of a problem — network or the server — and search of basic reasons of malfunctions of network and applications.

In new, the eighth, the version the technology of visual localization of faults patented by the company on the basis of their graphic detection is implemented. Besides, the solution executes full stream disk writing and an in-depth study of packets at a speed exceeding 10 Gbps. It allows to use only one device for accomplishment of more detailed analysis, explained in Fluke Networks.

Along with a possibility of fast identification of faults of network and faults of the server, the new user interface contains the configured dashboards which are automatically analyzed and display key parameters of performance. At the same time the user can use function of detailing for the fast analysis of basic reasons of faults.

Among the main opportunities of Network Time Machine it is possible to note: ClearSight Analyzer — makes the analysis focused on applications for an automatic research of operation of applications; metrics of quality of service, statistical data, diagrams in a trend type according to applications and flux levels for the data which are in the buffer and written in memory; work with metrics of Video/Voice over IP in real time and the help in troubleshooting for networks of an enterprise scale; performance certified by independent sources sufficient for networks 10 Gbps above.

2014: Updating of Network Time Machine

On June 26, 2014 it became known of new opportunities of the solution Network Time Machine.

A system performs the automatic multisegment analysis supporting joint capture, receiving and the analysis of packets from several OptiView XG and NTM that in 5 and more times reduces time necessary for the analysis of complex problems of applications, passing on several network segments.

In interfaces of Ethernet of 10/100 Mbps, 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps at stream disk writing with a speed up to 20 Gbit/sec. and memory volume in a set terabyte in a RAID storage system.
