As a result the efficiency of production management increased, it became much simpler to estimate profitability of each order, terms and costs for its accomplishment, an average term of accomplishment of orders was reduced by 20%.

Earlier for automation of polygraphic production at the enterprise the specialized software product for printing houses developed in 1998 However constantly changing legislation, insufficient level of maintenance, large volumes of release of a printed material was used, existence of difficult technology processes caused need of creation of essentially new system.

"We need to obtain more quickly information on work of the enterprise and to react to changes in the legislation. In this regard the decision on transition to the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 system which allows to resolve issues of formation of the operational reporting, to monitor the movement of orders in production, to obtain data on work in progress and many other things was made", – the chief executive of IPO "Leo Tolstoy" Mikhail Pavlov told, - "As the partner we selected SoftExpert company which is engaged many years in implementation of the systems of 1C in the Tula market. We knew her specialists as highly professional workers and therefore our choice were not casual. Besides, for us there was important the fact that SoftExpert agreed not just to implement "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8", but also to transfer data which were created in the previous system, to formalize them and to organize soft junction from one system to another which for us took place without loss".

Implementation "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" was begun in September, 2010. The specifics of the enterprise are that each order – unique. And orders such quite a lot. It was necessary to provide efficiency of calculation of each order, timely delivery of materials in production, to minimize completion date of the order and to make it so that it was possible to make easily data analysis and to receive the operational and regulated reporting.

Implementation of 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management allowed to solve these problems. The enterprise had an opportunity to manage quickly paper reserves, to reserve it under the order for polygraphic production, to control implementation process of finished goods by orders, to manage formation of material costs in production and to distribute them on production, to consider raw materials supplied by the customer under the order, to create and analyze production costs according to the accepted criteria of management. The enterprise received the modern automation system meeting all requirements of the legislation, providing great opportunities for the analysis of activity of IPO and management of job order polygraphic production.

At the beginning of 2011 a system was put into commercial operation. The following subsystems are at the moment completely automated and put into operation:

  • Accounting
  • Payroll calculation
  • Calculation of price-work salary for dresses
  • Personnel management
  • Cash management
  • Product data management – structure of a product
  • Order management of buyers
  • Purchase management
  • Inventory management
  • Production management
  • Products cost accounting
  • Sales management

In total 30 jobs were automated.

System implementation "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" allowed:

  • Integrate divisions of an expedition, production management and ensuring production with materials in the uniform service connected by the general management system, having increased efficiency of production planning, shipment of finished goods, timeliness of intake of materials in workshops.
  • Reduce the volume of paper document flow at the enterprise, having excluded preparation and approval of large volume of the intermediate reporting in divisions.
  • Estimate production efficiency up to the separate order, analyzing cost data. It became possible thanks to the function allowing to trace costs for products which are in production and to calculate its actual cost. Such approach to formation of costs provided an opportunity to minimize runtime of orders.

As a result the average term of accomplishment of orders was reduced by 20% that allowed to attract additional orders. The number of active customers increased by 11% a month, and the number of the placed orders - for 7%. All this, along with increase in efficiency of obtaining information, allowed to strengthen even more image of the enterprise as one of the most reliable partners providing accomplishment of the taken orders in time it is qualitative and transparent for customers.

The chief executive of IPO "Leo Tolstoy" Mikhail Pavlov so commented on results of implementation: "The 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 system allows to reveal additional costs in time and to exclude them from a production process. Thanks to a system, it is easier for me to accept the high-quality, weighed and operational management decisions, to give tasks to the subordinates – where and that needs to be corrected where there are reserves for decrease in cost value and increase in profitability of the enterprise. Very important and the fact that I can check execution of the instructions".

In further plans of IPO "Leo Tolstoy" – system implementation of budgeting and development of a management subsystem by production, with transfer of functionality of calculation of the polygraphic order to "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8".
