StarTool DA is a separate product Serena which has integration with ZMF. Basic purpose of a product – to provide powerful tools of debugging and the analysis a dump files for IBM z/OS of mainframes. StarTool DA helps developers to carry out diagnostics of the reasons of abnormal end-of-job (ABEND) errors. Instruments of diagnostics a dump files, interactive tracers, utilities of work with archives a dump files and the modern debugger are a part.
The dump files converts hexadecimal representation into a format convenient for reading in English both by errors of operators, and by errors in components. In case of use together with ZMF, information on a packet of changes with which the error is associated will be added.
Reduces time for recovery after failures, helping to find more precisely and quicker errors, to establish the reasons of problems and faults.
