Management of health care of Administration of the Odintsovo municipal district of the Moscow region for increase in efficiency of ambulance crews implemented the navigation and information system on the basis of GLONASS. The project is implemented by the Odintsovo humanitarian institute with technical participation of M2M Telematics company which specialists equipped ambulances of Control of telematic GLX M2M-Cyber terminals and additional sensors. Integration of a monitoring system and control of transport with the ADIS industry system, says "telematics M2M" is at the moment carried out.
Within the project the equipment of GLONASS equipped all park of out-patient machines and ambulance cars of Management and also in detail several automated jobs in dispatching service. Inclusion of a system of navigation of GLONASS in business processes of medical institution became feature of the project.
"Combination of the GLONASS navigation system allowing to control and trace ambulances in real time and a specialized management system ADIS provides optimization of all processes happening on stations of emergency medical service including the maximum reduction of time of response to calls" — [[Hadonova Svetlana|Hadonova Svetlana]], the marketing director of M2M Telematics Group reported. According to her, systems successfully supplement each other: ADIS gives to the navigation application of function of scheduling, necessary for ambulance carriages, and the navigation system — functions of monitoring and control online with a search capability of the next vehicle to the location of the patient/victim. "At the moment integration of the navigation and information system with the ADIS system which is performed by specialists of "telematics M2M" — the only industry solution of similar level existing in the market" — Svetlana Hadonova emphasized.
In general the dispatching center equipped with the ADIS industry system with a possibility of a GLONASS/GPS monitoring has exhaustive data on location of all ambulance cars in real time, noted in "M2M to telematics". The combined systems allow to coordinate work of crew, sending it in due time to the right place with a possibility of correction of the movement of the machine (location, the direction and motion speed, fuel level, estimated arrival time, visualization of all information, etc.). As the result, is considerably reduced arrival time of the ambulance to the patient and the principle of "gold hour" during which first aid should be provided to the victim is observed.
According to the company, according to the results of system implementation "M2M-Region 03" on ambulance of Barnaul it was succeeded to increase the number of successful resuscitation of patients due to reduction of arrival time of ambulance crews from 21 to 10 minutes by 20%, at the same time expenses on fuel and lubricants based on implementation of GLONASS technologies were cut down for 20%. At the same time, due to increase in control of work of mobile teams of the station of emergency medical service of Vyborg the number of departures of crews up to 4 minutes increased by 14.8%, and the average time of waiting of the ambulance was reduced by 11.8%. In Ryazan the speed of arrival of ambulance crews increased by 10%, and economy of fuel made about 20%, reported in "M2M to telematics".
