Motor transport of Directorate on logistics AvtoVAZ will be equipped with the GLONASS/GPS system of monitoring and control

JSC "Russian Navigation Technologies" (RNT) together with "GLONASS-TsENTR" (Togliatti), the dealer on the Samara region, – announced a victory in an open competition and agreement signature on equipment of motor transport of Directorate on logistics of JSC AVTOVAZ an end-to-end system of a GLONASS/GPS of monitoring and control Avtotreker, including fuel sensors and sets of a public address system. Within the project the specialized equipment "Avtotreker" will be installed by 78 cars of the Customer. The project is executed with participation of the regional partner of RNT, GLONASS Center LLC companies the director of which is Zulayev Oleg.

The Russian carmaker "AVTOVAZ" is the largest producer of cars in Russia and Eastern Europe. At the same time the enterprise is focused, generally on domestic market where is the absolute leader in sales. Naturally, the success of work of such automobile giant in many respects depends on smooth, harmonious and accurate functioning of logistic services. It is enough to tell that within the scope of responsibility of Directorate on logistics of JSC AVTOVAZ fall: delivery of components of external delivery on assembly the pipeline, movement of empties, ensuring intra factory transport transportations for divisions of JSC AVTOVAZ [SKP, MSP, PRP, PPI], intra factory transportation of employees by buses and many other things. For this reason the Directorate pays so close attention to building of internal business processes and careful selection of the technologies designed to make these business processes even more transparent and effective.

In this regard we will emphasize that the problem of equipment of motor transport and, in particular, semi-trailers the GLONASS/GPS system of monitoring and control initially was considered by top management of AVTOVAZ as one of key. Such relation of the Customer to the project also caused specific requirements which were imposed to the selected solution. Among them we will note: reliability of the equipment, accuracy of indicators of a system of the counted car mileage, simplicity and convenience in operation of the interface of the manager, advanced functionality of the server software, lack of an error of accounting of fuel and a vandaloustoychivost. As a result, the Customer stopped the choice on the Avtotreker system which is completely meeting all these requirements.

Avtotreker by machines of vehicle fleet of Directorate on logistics of AVTOVAZ will allow to solve system implementation of a GLONASS/GPS of monitoring and control a number of relevant problems of the enterprise, such as fuel economy, control of target use of transport, tracking of execution of requests of divisions, economy of working time, etc. Besides, using this solution the Customer will be able to control timely delivery of components and self-produced parts to assembly the pipeline and movement of empties. At the same time the main effect from use Avtotreker will become optimization and increase in system effectiveness of logistics of the company on intra factory transportations. For this reason for 2012 considerable expansion of this project is planned.
