Project implementation on implementation of a MES system at the Volga Automobile Plant (AvtoVAZ)

In 2001 the SITEK company implemented the project on complex automation of JSC AVTOVAZ - the Russian carmaker, the largest producer of cars in Russia and Eastern Europe (Russia, the Samara region, Togliatti). Consolidation in a single information network of 6 machines by implementation of the module of a MCIS system from Siemens concern — DNC/Direct Numeric Control became a main objective of the project.

Convenient consolidation in network and exact scalability

DNC provides consolidation in an information network of any CNC systems, irrespective of their age and the producer. The module integrated the SINUMERIK systems 810 D/840 Di/840D with Ethernet in factory network for receiving high-speed communication with jobs of technologists-programmers.

Data management, convenience to the user

Data management of the CNC allowed to cut down considerably expenses on data structure of the CNC, storage of programs, setup archives and any other data types. Up-to-date data of the CNC are available in factory network thanks to what they can be found and used quickly in work. The data of the CNC created or changed in the SINUMERIK system 810 D/840 Di/840D are also reserved and archived.
