History

2017: Reorganization

By order of the Government of the Russian Federation pursuant to Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 45 of February 1, 2017^[1] "FSUE" All-Russian Research Institute of Intersectoral Information - Federal^[1] Analytical Center of the Defense Industry "was reorganized in the form of joining the Federal State Unitary Enterprise" NTC of the Defense Complex "Compass."

2011: Areas of activity

According to information as of August 2011, the institute develops, masters and uses the latest information technologies. On the basis of modern computer equipment, FSUE VIMI has created the country's largest intersectoral information automated system (MIAS), which has high-speed communication channels with other information centers, scientific, technical, design and technological organizations of the main industries. Since mid-1998, its own Internet site has been operating on the basis of a powerful Web server, which allows you to quickly receive the latest information in the field of science, technology and economics and at the same time quickly submit to the domestic and foreign market information about the proposals of defense enterprises in the field of conversion products, advanced technologies and business projects.

As of August 2011, FSUE VIMI is under the jurisdiction of the Federal Defense Service of the Russian Federation (Rosoboronzakaz). FSUE VIMI is determined by the leading organization in Russia to coordinate the work of defense industry enterprises in the field of preparation and methodological support of international exhibitions, symposia, conferences and seminars and has 30 years of experience in this area.

FSUE "VIMI" independently and in cooperation with other scientific organizations of the country performs research in various areas of development of science, technology, technology and economics.
