Implementation of HP of Service Manager in Kazchrome MNC (ENRC)

The I-Teco company announced project completion at the largest mining and metallurgical enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan – in the multinational company (further multinational corporation) Kazchrome entering into the ENRC group. Within the contract consultants of I-Teco developed and implemented the uniform standard of management of basic IT processes today existing at all enterprises of the customer.

Now the head office and four branches which are independent manufacturing enterprises which are located in the different cities of Kazakhstan are a part of Kazchrome MNC and have own specifics of work. In these conditions ensuring effective operation of IT resources in scales of all Kazchrome MNC became a relevant project task. As a methodological basis for work the best practices ITIL and COBIT, and as the automation system – HP Service Manager were defined.

The contractor on the project selected the I-Teco company having wide practical experience of implementation of similar projects and having a team of highly skilled certified consultants in the field of ITSM.

Feature of project implementation in Kazchrome MNC was need of creation of the single centralized solution on automation which would ensure effective functioning of the customer taking into account a difficult territorial and organization structure of the company. The implemented solution had to consider as the requirement of head office to the general approaches on the organizations of processes of support, and specific requirements of branches to the implemented automation system.

In a project deliverable in IT departments of the enterprises of Kazchrome MNC the unified automated processes of ITSM are implemented (incident managements, configurations and the service levels) that promoted significant increase in efficiency of IT services. The implemented solution allows to obtain quickly up-to-date information about quality of the IT services provided more than for two thousand users. At the same time the solution considers need of the organization of different support lines of IT services at the central and local levels.
