JSC UK Objedinennaya dvigatelestroitelnaya korporatsiya (ODK) starts implementation of purchasing activity using instruments of electronic trading. For carrying out purchases the system of B2B-Center, largest in Russia, was selected.
Transition to an electronic form of purchases is an important step on the way of implementation of new procurement strategy of JSC UK UEC. Reform of a purchasing system will promote cost reduction due to introduction of monitoring systems of biddings, the systems of a purchasing sorsing, replication of practice of electronic biddings which at a number of the enterprises of the engine-building industry are applied since 2009. Use of electronic marketplace will allow corporation to reduce significantly the cost of the purchased products and services due to open competition among more than 60,000 participating companies of a system B2B-Center.
The choice of the partner for implementation of the specified tasks was performed on the basis of competitive selection taking into account such criteria as the number of the held auction and their effectiveness, the number of suppliers, cost of services, existence of successful experience of implementation of similar projects. The B2B-Center company having more than nine years' experience of successful work in this market became the winner. Within a single system of electronic trading of B2B-Center the trade and purchasing platform B2B-ODK is already developed. Here it is going to carry out purchases of goods, works and services for needs of management company and also for ensuring productive activity of its enterprises: JSC NPO Saturn, JSC Klimov, JSC UEPA, JSC PMZ, JSC Aviadvigatel, JSC Kuznetsov, JSC MMP im. V. V. Chernysheva, JSC Star, etc. Since September, 2011, all engine-building enterprises will start placement on ETP of orders for deliveries of goods of works of services. In the current year it is going to transfer to an electronic form to 30% of the total amount of purchases.

In plans of corporation - active building of a share of electronic biddings in a total amount of the purchases and sales performed by the company".

Within partnership, JSC UK UEC and B2B-Center offer all companies wishing to participate in biddings, to use preferential terms which will work till December 31, 2011.
