St. Petersburg taxi 068 (Arkan SuperVising)

In 2010 monitoring systems of ARKAN equipped vehicle fleet of the St. Petersburg taxi 068 that allowed customer company to reduce costs and to strengthen the positions in the market.

The project task Equipment of a taxi pool of the St. Petersburg 068 taxi the system of satellite monitoring ARKAN SuperVising based on technologies of satellite positioning a GLONASS/GPS Effect of the ARKAN SuperVising Monitoring System Hardware and Software System project provides the solution of a broad spectrum of tasks of effective management of transport resources of the taxi enterprise. By means of navigation GLONASS/GPS terminals the location, movements and a status of each machine are displayed in real time on the electronic local map. A system allows to fix changes in the status of the car (is taken/is free), to define the exact time of the beginning and completion of a trip, to control observance of the high-speed mode and fuel consumption, to set optimal routes of the movement taking into account city traffic. On the basis of telematic data the manager directs the next free car to the place of the order that considerably increases the feed speed of the taxi and customer service quality. Reports on the executed orders are provided in a digital form, convenient for the subsequent analysis. For the purpose of security the "disturbing" button by means of which the driver can quickly send an alarm to the dispatching center is included in structure of the onboard package. Satellite control of location of machines of the taxi allows to help quickly in emergency situation and also to take measures in case of stealing.
