Rosatom will create a corporate portal on 50 thousand users

The Rosatom state corporation implements the project of creation of a single portal platform based on IBM WebSphere which will become the main for providing information services for all its divisions and subsidiary companies. The project is implemented together with IBS company.

Ultimate goal of the project – creation of a common information space which will integrate all internal systems of Rosatom and also external information resources of the enterprises of nuclear sector. According to TAdviser, Rosatom in particular uses such solution as HCM SAP ERP for personnel management, the different systems on the 1C Platform for accounting and payroll, Oracle E-Business Suite as an enterprise management system and some other applications.

The uniform industry portal will allow to organize and improve joint work of staff of all divisions of Rosatom, and these are more than 250 enterprises and the scientific organizations. This project is a part of "The program of transformation of the financial and economic block and information technologies" of Rosatom.

According to the Chief information officer of state corporation Vladimir Pasynkov, the project provides parallel development of information services as internal circuit – for employees, so external – for Internet users. "The single portal platform, the most modern is for this purpose used for today. Such approach allows to provide close integration of external and internal resources at the level of information flows and at the level of system solutions", – he noted.

Within the project to specialists of IBS the portal based on the IBM Web Sphere Portal platform was unrolled. At the moment the portal is already available to 1.5 thousand employees of Rosatom, Atomenergoprom company and Greenatom Ltd. In 2011-2012 it is going to connect to the portal of 15 more organizations of Rosatom. And all nearly 50 thousand workers of nuclear sector should become users of a system. The project budget does not reveal.

After project completion on its base access to corporate information systems of state corporation, including an opportunity for work with the legacy applied systems which do not have the web interface will be provided. Special integration solutions will be developed for these purposes.

At the expense of the organization of the protected remote access to services of the portal, joint work of participants of project teams, including from the enterprises of other industries will be ensured. Already now the project documentation according to several large atomic projects is collected and published in the portal.

Creation of "a ring of the websites" of the enterprises of the nuclear industry became one more direction of works within this project. By this moment are created and the website of Rosatom and the websites of the enterprises of nuclear sector function: Rosenergoatom Concern (including the websites of 10 branches of concern — nuclear power stations), JSC TVEL, JSC Atomenergomash, Federal State Unitary Enterprise ROSRAO, JSC SPBAEP, FNPTs "NIIIS of Yu.E. Sedakov", Federal State Unitary Enterprise GCC, Greenatom Ltd.
