"The performance the Lab" began testing of billing of MGTS

The Performance Lab company started comprehensive testing of a billing system of "Moscow City Telephone Network" (MCTN).

Until the end of 2011 Performance of Lab will carry out a complex of works on functional and stress testing of a new billing system of FORIS FIX operating in MGTS since November, 2010. Besides, because the telecom operator did not hold earlier full-scale testing of the systems, Performance of Lab will develop for the customer the testing model considering as features of work with the system of different divisions of MGTS and policy of implementation of updates from a vender - SITRONICS Telecommunication Solutions companies.

Testing will help to increase quality, and fault tolerance of a billing system, to avoid possible problems with functionality for the end user. Besides, services will allow to learn Performance of Lab how a system in in process of increase in number of users and in the conditions of peak loads will behave and also to investigate influence of new functional units or releases of a system.

The project is broken into two stages. The first consists in creation of test model. At this stage which will last about one and a half months there is collecting and data analysis and preparation for testing. After the termination of the first stage system testing will begin actually. Its carrying out will perform Performance of Lab to 30 employees. Works will last at least until the end of 2011.

The agreement was signed at the end of August after summing up the results of open request for proposals at the choice of the company for testing of a billing system.
