The TopS BI company entering into Sistematika group completed the project of creation of the Data Processing Center (DPC) for an automated system of information support of the Center of training of astronauts of Yu.A. Gagarin.

Federal State Budgetary Institution "Research test center of training of astronauts of Yu.A. Gagarin" is engaged in providing the piloted space programs, research and development in the field of studying of space and creation of the space equipment, training of astronauts, ensuring safe stay of astronauts in an orbit, rehabilitation of astronauts after accomplishment of space flights.

Activity of so important strategic organization requires strong support, including, using modern IT tools. To increase efficiency of use of technical means, to cut down expenses on administration and to improve security and fault tolerance of IT infrastructure the leaders of the Center made the decision to implement the project of creation of a modern Data processing center.

"The carried-out audit showed that IT infrastructure which functioned in TsPK earlier did not meet the necessary requirements of information security and fault tolerance. For elimination of this problem it was decided to construct a data processing center. As a result of tender on creation of the Data processing center, the TopS BI company which experience and examination allows to implement modern DPC of any level of complexity was selected", - Krikalyov Sergey Konstantinovich, the chief of TsPK of Yu.A. Gagarin noted.

At creation of the computer system of DPC it was necessary to consider requirements for ensuring high availability of the existing information systems, having involved resources of already available equipment in the maximum degree. Both tasks were solved by experts of TopS BI using use of technologies of virtualization, both on server side (VMware vSphere), and on the party of a storage system (Netapp). The built hardware-software platform is characterized by high degree of reliability, flexibility and simplicity of scaling and maintenance.

Design and creation of a complex of the engineering systems of DPC took place based on the open, adaptive and integrated APC InfraStruXure architecture. The modern systems of regular power supply, distribution of uninterrupted power supply and precision conditioning of production of APC, the system of automatic gas fire fighting, all-exchange ventilation and gas-smoke removal and also grounding were a part of this complex.

Experts of TopS BI company, making use of the long-term experience, could implement optimum allocation of computing resources in DPC and it is ideal to enter the advanced engineering systems in its construction.
