JSC Kuznetsov starts large-scale implementation of CAD and PLM technologies

Siemens PLM Software and LANIT company announced implementation of PLM technology in JSC KUZNETSOV as the standard at design and production of products.

Tasks

The management of JSC KUZNETSOV made the decision on the beginning of large-scale implementation of PLM technologies within the program of creation of a line of turbine jets based on a universal gas generator of high power efficiency.

Hopes

PLM- the system created based on products Siemens PLM Software: NXTM – the leader full-function digital CADCAM//CAE-solutions for design of products, and the PLM platform which is the most widely applied in the world Teamcenter, will allow JSC Kuznetsov to increase production efficiency of the new and upgraded products, cutting down at the same time design expenses and production.

Opinion

"Implementation of PLM technologies in JSC KUZNETSOV is made in a complex and in parallel in design and technology services. Necessary infrastructure is created, divisions are equipped with the equipment and the software. The personnel take full-fledged training courses, - Alexander Shishov, the CIO of JSC KUZNETSOV reported. - Such approach is repaid. With its help we will be able to achieve the goal - formation of the electronic model of a universal gas generator using NX, and at the same time to lay the foundation of work of technologists in the form of creation of all necessary reference books in Teamcenter".

The RT-Inform company whose task, in particular, includes the centralized acquisition of IT products for the enterprises entering into Rostec state corporation held in 2014 competitions on purchase of licenses of the engineering and design software developed by Siemens company.

Judging by the published tender documentation, purchases were carried out for the benefit of the Samara JSC Kuznetsov entering into United Engine Corporation which, in turn, belongs to Rostec state corporation.

In the first of tenders which was carried out on December 24, 2014 the right to delivery of 102 licenses for 16 different names of engineering software of Siemens and also to service of the software products delivered both for the first time and was played earlier.

On the second tender held on December 25, 2014 the contractor on year service of 905 units of modules of design software of 100 different names was selected.

Only one company - Lanit integrator who in both cases and was recognized by the winner with the amount of remuneration of 9.916 million rubles in the first tender and 12.545 million rubles in the second wished to take part in both tenders.

Thus, Lanit will deliver for JSC Kuznetsov according to the results of two tenders of a product lifecycle management system (PLM) of Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Software and service in their support approximately for 22.461 million rubles.
