Video surveillance at stations on the way of the train "Allegro"

Due to the commissioning of new high-speed trains the management of the Russian Railway made the decision on radical upgrade of a security system on all way of the train "Allegro", from Finland Station to border with Finland.

First of all video surveillance systems on Finland Station of St. Petersburg and railway stations of the city of Vyborg and St were updated. Lawn.

Design and installation of a control system of access and also installation of cable passages and video cameras on objects were executed by ALTERA company - the general contractor of the project.

Composition of video surveillance switched on more than 200 video cameras - in internal premises of stations, on platforms and on an external circuit of the territory.

Installation and commissioning on commissioning of a video surveillance system was completed by specialists of VIZZARA company in December, 2010.

The video surveillance system is implemented using the hardware and software system "Intelligence" based on the ViServer video servers, production of VIZZARA company. Servers provide image recording of cameras with a speed of 25 frames per second.

Intelligence of the Finnish and Vyborg stations is feature of creation of video surveillance systems their geographically-distributed structure, high writing rate and long term of storage of archive and also need of simultaneous operation for the system of specialists of different departments.

Implementation of a system from the order moment before supply of equipment on objects and also the subsequent commissioning, was carried out by VIZZARA company to the shortest possible time.

At the same time the list of the equipment was rather impressive - more than 20 ViServer video servers with the customized and tested video surveillance system Intelligence, more than 10 external data warehouses of "ViStorage" which total amount allows to store archive of videos more than a month.

Thereby video control for different departments was provided: Federal Border Service, Customs service and also station security service.

During operation of the started video surveillance complex Intelligence the system of security observation proved to be from the best party as a reliable and high-performance video surveillance system.
