On September 12, 2011 the IOCELL Networks company (USA) provided one-disk multifunction network storage with the USB interface and eSATA – the NETDISK SOLO model. Innovation is developed on the basis of the revolutionary patented IOCELL Networks technology in the field of storage systems - NDAS (Network Direct Attached Storage).
The main differences of NETDISK SOLO from NAS devices - the high performance, data security, ease of use and installations and also compatibility with all file systems. You will be able easily to organize and structure the photos, video and audio-archives, having provided at the same time easy and controlled access for several users.
- High speed of work. The network storage NETDISK SOLO shows higher speed of work, than normal NAS devices by 5 times. Such performance is reached due to direct connection of the device to a local network, at the same time the data exchange rate practically reaches the capacity of the internal hard drive.
- Data security, protection against the hacker attacks. NETDISK SOLO does not require the IP addresses setup, and, therefore, it is invisible and unavailable to the external attacks! NETDISK SOLO has a unique identifier and write keys which are appropriated to the device at the hardware level. Thanks to keys you will be able to differentiate without effort possibilities of users, having granted them the right to Reading/record or "Only reading".
- Ease of use. You just need to connect the device to the wireless router or the switch by means of the Ethernet-cable which is included in the package. Then set device drivers, using the enclosed setup disk, process will be started automatically. It was necessary only to enter the identifier of the device and keys on record to differentiate user rights, and the device is ready to work. The operating system of the computer "sees" network storage NETDISK SOLO as the normal internal hard drive.
- Enhanced capabilities. You will be able to create on NETDISK SOLO several sections with different file systems – NTFS, FAT32, HFS, etc. of NETDISK SOLO can be connected to the computer through any of the following interfaces: Ethernet network (Data transfer rate of 60-70 MB/sec.), USB (data transfer rate of 25-35 MB/sec.), eSATA (data transfer rate more than 100 MB/sec.). Besides the network storage can be disconnected from a local network and is connected to the PC through USB or eSATA without the need for formatting
