History

2015

In March, 2015 financial service for small business of "Modulbank" acquired at Unicloud Labs company the rights to its cloud Unicloud Business 365 system together with development team of a product^[1].

Developments of Unicloud formed the basis Portal 2.0 — the platform answering for servicing clients of Modulbank. The first version of Portal created along with opening of bank in 2014 needed completion: in particular, it was not expected heavy loads and the frequent attacks of malefactors.

2012

The Skolkovo Foundation made the decision on issue to the resident of an IT cluster of Unicloud of Labs company of a grant in the amount of more than 24 million rubles. A project objective – to give to small and medium business available at the price and the convenient platform in use with working services.

"The idea of creation of the "cloud" platform of services is timely and relevant for support of small and medium business. Emergence and distribution of such service will be demanded by many entrepreneurs and with high probability can make several local "revolutions". As all now everywhere use e-mail, also easily it will be possible and to configure all process of interaction between partners, customers and contractors, suppliers and buyers", – the chief executive of an IT cluster of Skolkovo Foundation Turkot Alexander said.

As noted in "Unicloud of Labs", the greatest number of offers in IT market forms for the large companies and government institutions as most solvent clients. At the same time millions of the small companies daily is engaged in sales, personnel management, customer interaction and document flow, and use information systems only as the instrument of automation of the existing processes.

"Within our platform and services we will offer essentially new opportunities, we will expand the horizons for small and medium business, − Torshin Dmitry, the CEO of Unicloud of Labs company noted. – At the same time the financial support of Skolkovo Foundation will allow us to offer our products at very affordable prices".

According to the company executive, the main task of the project – creation of a unique cloud platform and services in the SaaS model for support of primary activity on the basis of simple, clear and mobile service. Thanks to a grant of Skolkovo Foundation of "Unicloud of Labs" was going to expand staff of developers and to reduce terms of an output of perspective products to the market.

The decision on financing of developments of "Unicloud of Labs" was made by experts of Skolkovo Foundation on the basis of studying of the detailed business plan of the company, the technical specification on the project. Experts approved a grant in the amount of more than 24 million rubles. The general project budget for 12 months had to make 32 million rubles.

Start of an automated system of Business 365

On August 30, 2012 Unicloud started the automation system of business of Business 365.

According to Dmitry Torshin, a cloud system allows to automate practically all processes of business. "Generally the product is aimed at small and medium business. However, it easily will suit also the large companies", - he said.

The share of investments Skolkovo in the project made 24 million rubles. According to Torshin, this slightly less than a half of all investments in the project.

Unicloud Business 365

"A system works by the principle of social network therefore does not require extra time for training of new employees or retraining", - Torshin said TAdviser.

A system works through braurez as from the desktop computer, and the notebook, the tablet or the smartphone. The interface is constructed by the principle of layers: the employee can go deep into project parts, and then without prejudice to data to continue work, having closed unnecessary layers.

A system does not require obligatory filling of these or those details and automatically substitutes the available data at the beginning of work with the partner or his representative.

A system in a complex provides to the user services for formation and monitoring of events of the company in a uniform information tape; to problem definition and tracking of their execution; to consolidation of tasks, discussions and documents in projects; to communication between participants; contact base – people and the companies; to planning and assessment of transactions; to ensuring legally significant electronic document management between the companies directly in the course of their work with each other.

"One of the most important points is that all created documents, including invoices, are legally significant", - Torshin said. "It became possible thanks to change of the legislation and also our partnership with the entrusted operator of data who posts all documents for inspection bodies", - it continued.

A system allows to integrate the created documents with already implemented systems and also to import and export documents.

Service cost

According to Torshin, in a basic free service package the company provides to clients of 250 MB of the place in a cloud for work. "Also the free packet does not include some functions, for example creation of the invoice", - he said. Expand volume to 1 GB will cost 1500 rubles a month, and at expansion to 10GB - 8500 of rubles a month. "During testing within 6 months the company from 20 people could generate 700 MB of the place. At the same time heavy content was loaded. If the company uses only basic functions of a system, then it will have enough free place on long", - he concluded.

Affiliate program

At the company the partnership agreement with JSC Multiregional Transit Telecom about the built-in function of the IP telephony is signed. According to Torshin, the service is provided on the principle of Skype, at the same time, in the company and between clients of a system calls on landline and mobile numbers are free.

"Until the end of the year we are going to announce one more partnership agreement which will add some functions to a system", - Torshin said.

Competition

As Dmitry Torshin reported TAdviser, a system has no direct competitors. "And indirect, perhaps too. Everything that now is presented at the market - it is only separate parts of what is in general in Unicloud Business 365. To some extent it is possible to assume that Evernote which announced plans to go to corporate business can compete somewhere with us, but we will offer them partnership rather", - Torshin concluded.
