Gazprom Polycom

AMT Group carried out upgrade of a system of an audiovideo conferencing (AVKS) to Gazprom Neft companies. Specialists of the company implement a new system based on the equipment of Polycom and Cisco TelePresence. The new core of AVKS service is increased and now supports VKS in the HD format, the connectivity to system 200 of the VIDEOCONFERENCING software clients is also implemented. The system of design and planning of sessions of conferences is implemented, the flexibility and convenience of management is considerably increased by them. Integration with corporate systems of communication and video telephony of Gazprom Neft is carried out. Interface to already available VKS systems installed in regional divisions of the customer is implemented. For efficiency analysis of use of AVKS collecting of billing information is provided, the analysis system of efficiency of use of server and terminal equipment of AVKS is implemented.

Within the project specialists of AMT Group conducted preproject examination of SPD of Gazprom Neft company and the analysis of the current configurations of the existing AVKS systems. On the basis of data retrieveds and taking into account business requirements of the customer the engineering design of a new system was developed.

AVKS is intended for holding sessions of two-way and multilateral video and audio-communication between the staff of head office, regional and foreign departments of the Gazprom Neft group. Connection to the sessions of VKS of the external participants who are not subscribers of corporate network of Gazprom Neft became one of tasks also.

The platform for holding multimedia conferences in real time of Polycom of RMX became the central server. All types of terminals of a video conferencing provide a possibility of transfer of images and documents and joint work with them. A system allows to organize planning of sessions through MS Outlook.

Considerably the convenience of management both the sessions of AVKS, and a system in general thanks to implementation of a single system of monitoring, a provizhing and network management of a video conferencing of Polycom Converged Management Application increased. With its help setup and installation of raznourovnevy passwords of access, creation of unique profiles of conferences, management of participants and sessions is made. Control of components is exercised from the system of the central console, the organization and holding sessions are regulated both in manual, and in the automatic mode, without participation of the operator.

For a possibility of recording, broadcastings and the subsequent use of materials of sessions of AVKS the centralized system of record, broadcasting and archive storage of materials of the multimedia Cisco TelePresence IP VCR conferences is used.

Increase in number of HD ports of a server part in a multipoint session of VKS will become the next stage of development of a system. Also expansion of the park of the VKS terminals supporting the HD format (High Definition) is planned.
