Sika (Microsoft Dynamics AX)

The Russian representative office of the international company Sika used experience of Manzana Group for transition to new account policy. According to the results of the project the company received new regulations for cost accounting and also - purchased an opportunity to operate with more up-to-date data about finance.

Not the first year Sika Russia company successfully manages the resources using the Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 system. Recently in the company the decision on change of account policy was made. As a result, there was a task of making changes in settlement processes of cost value of the made products.

The company has own qualified support service capable to independently reflect necessary changes in a system. However development of methodology of such transition and necessary regulations required the help of third-party consultants.

The management of Sika Russia asked for the help in the solution of this task Manzana Group as one of the most experienced companies integrators in the Russian market specializing in creation of effective business solutions based on the Microsoft Dynamics systems.

Specialists of Manzana Group developed regulations of transition to the new procedure of payments of cost of products of Sika including not only an algorithm of transition directly to a new method of calculation, but an algorithm of reflection of these changes in accounting of the company. In addition, in the course of work on the project were developed regulations of elimination of the detected problems with data in the application and also - a data validation technique for prevention of similar errors further.

The created regulations of change of account policy and specially developed program algorithms allowed Sika Russia company to perform independently system maintenance of management of Microsoft Dynamics AX using support of the Manzana Group portal.

In general development process of regulations demanded about a month of work of the specialist of Manzana Group. As a result of project implementation the Sika Russia company received ready methodological development for independent system maintenance, making changes of account policy and reflection of the carried-out changes in accounting. Violations of integrity of data were revealed and algorithms are developed for their elimination and further control. The relevance of financial data about activity of the company increased.
