M2M-Cyber GLX at the PSO "Kazan" construction enterprise

At one of the largest construction enterprises of the capital of Tatarstan PSO "Kazan" is implemented a monitoring system and controls of transport on the basis of GLONASS technologies. The project was implemented by the regional partner of M2M Telematics Group in the Republic of Tatarstan – Vektor-Navigator company.

Main objectives of system implementation - control of fuel consumption, increase in effective management of transport and special equipment and also cost optimization on the maintenance of vehicle fleet of PSO "Kazan". Implementation of solutions GLONASS takes place in several stages. In August, 2011 exchange M2M-Cyber GLX telematic service stations equipped 150 units of transport: ready-mix trucks, dump trucks, cranes. Besides, sensors of control of level of fuel and control of the hinged equipment are included in the package of onboard navigation and coherent. For example, pumps were equipped with sensors of draining of concrete and rotation of a ready-mix truck, and fuel trucks – flowmeters. Until the end of the year within the project the navigation and coherent equipment will equip more than 800 machines.

At the enterprise the dispatching service is created. The automated jobs with the set dispatching software of M2M-CyberFleet® are unrolled in the PSO "Kazan" main enterprise, department of operation and several garages of the company. All this allows to control a situation and to quickly monitor movement of transport and special equipment on the card.

By calculations of representatives of the enterprise, for half a year a system should pay off. Literally in the first month of system operation the enterprise managed to cut down expenses on fuel on 20%. At the enterprise labor discipline raised – now each machine is under continuous control of an automated system. "It not really is pleasant to some drivers, will not make the "left" runs any more, and will not merge fuel, - the director of the company "A vector the navigator" Yulia Klassen told. – But the efficiency of use of the equipment grew considerably. The monitoring system already managed to prove also in terms of security. Recently one of dump trucks of PSO "Kazan" was hijacked. Thanks to the equipment installed by GLONASS the equipment hidden in garages managed to be found for an hour and a half".

The main activities of PSO "Kazan" are construction of industrial and civil facilities, design of buildings and constructions, reconstruction of monuments of history and architecture. The company is a general contractor on construction of many sporting venues of the Universiade-2013. Practically all transport involved in this project is equipped with GLONASS equipment.
