IBM and SKB-Bank announced project deliverables on integration of information systems of bank using the IBM WebSphere software products. Implemented by HOST Group, the business partner of IBM, the solution allowed bank to increase quality of remote customer service and to simplify an output to the market of new banking services.
The contract for project implementation was signed in December, 2008 between SKB-Bank and HOST Group with active participation of office IBM in Yekaterinburg. IBM actively develops the activity in regions of Russia within general strategy of the company on expansion of presence in the growing markets. At the moment IBM in Russia has 15 offices and the service centers, including office in Yekaterinburg and wide network of business partners.
SKB-Bank – one of the largest regional banks of Russia. Every minute in its divisions two transfers are made out on average and the new consumer loan is issued. The number of investors of SKB-Bank exceeds 500,000 people. According to the read plans, only in 2011 the SKB-Bank plans opening of 50 regional offices across all Russia. Due to intensive dynamics of development the bank needed to reduce time to market of new banking products and to provide their availability to clients of mobile bank. The task of integration of information platforms of bank, including the automated banking system and the system for remote servicing of clients was set for IT department. As the platform for integration the solutions IBM WebSphere MQ and WebSphere Message Broker were selected.

The flexibility and efficiency of the platform developed by specialists of HOST Group on the basis of the solutions IBM WebSphere allow us effectively and to react quickly to market changes".
The IBM Power servers became base for the integration platform. Within project implementation by specialists of HOST Group the centralized tool on management of functioning of an integration layer and operational assessment of statistics of the situations arising at mass message exchange by the applied systems was developed. It allowed to increase transparency of management of an integration complex.
The new software platform is brought into commercial operation in February, 2011. In development plans for the project – transition to the integration platform as on the only means providing interaction of all information systems of bank.
