The Admiralteyskaya station of the St. Petersburg subway was built in 1997, but due to the lack of a possibility of construction of the oblique course and a lobby of the station long time remained transit. The question of construction of the oblique course was brought up in 2007. Especially for construction of an eskalatorny tunnel of JSC Metrostroy the German tunnel-boring mechanized complex (TPMK) which received the name "Aurora" was ordered. After resettlement of house No. 4/1 on Malaya Morskaya Street (the second address — Kirpichny Lane, 1/4) in 2009 metrobuilders started a construction of the oblique course of the station. Process of construction included several stages: preparation of a ditch, installation of TPMK, passing, dismantling of TPMK. Each of them has a number of the technology features requiring efforts and control from the parent organization of Metrostroy, Management of mechanization, subcontract organization SMU-11 Metrostroy Ltd and other organizations participating in construction. Opening of the station is planned for December, 2011.
For ensuring communication between the building site and Management of Metrostroy the video surveillance allowing to trace at any time the construction course was organized. The main carried-out objectives — installation of observation system and control of observance of rules of industrial security, labor protection and technology transactions for the period of construction of the station.
The project is implemented by the partner of VIZZARA LLC, the Alarmsoft company which is the contractor and long time fruitfully cooperating with JSC Metrostroy. For an object Admiralty of "Alarmsoft" performed a video surveillance system design, delivery and installation of equipment, implementation and a software setup of Videoiq7.
For effective solution of the tasks set by the customer within the project the high-speed color Galact dome cameras, the four-channel Stream Labs IP servers and Videoiq7 software product from company ITV|AxxonSoft based on the ViServer video server from VIZZARA company were used. Image transfer from video cameras in dispatching service of Management of Metrostroy on a radio channel with a speed up to 2 Mbps is organized.
The created observation system is recognized optimal for implementation of operating remote control and situation management a work progress.
