Technoserv will design the power center for the Turquoise Katun special economic zone

The Technoserv company announced contract signature on design of the power center in the territory of the special economic zone of tourist and recreational type (SEZ) Turquoise Katun in Altai Krai. The contract for the amount of 37 million rubles was signed based on the open competition held by JSC Osobye ekonomicheskiye zony.

Within the agreement Technoserv will perform works on design of the power center developing from natural gas electro-and thermal energy for complete ensuring requirements of an economic zone with a total area of 3326 hectares. Besides, the project documentation will be coordinated with the regional companies of a power complex and also Technoserv will provide technical support of the project when passing state examination.

"The projectible power center in the long term will allow to provide power supply of the Turquoise Katun SEZ (Altai Krai), and at application of the network solution – to tell the required power to the Altai Valley SEZ (Altai Republic). For Turquoise Katun it will become the main source of energy providing the potential of development acting and emergence of new investment projects in the field of tourism", – the First Deputy CEO of JSC OEZ Victor Zheleztsov noted. According to him, from that, how qualitatively project works will also be quickly performed, eventually, the speed of creation of this important infrastructure facility, so attractiveness of the platform for private investors depends. "Therefore, we expect qualitative and timely execution of works from Technoserv company", – the First Deputy CEO of JSC OEZ emphasized.

According to technical specifications the power center will be designed taking into account step-by-step input of capacities. At the same time its maximum settlement thermal power will be over 39 Gcal/hour (45 MW), and electric power – more than 24 MW. In addition to the power center in the territory of 1.7 hectares the warehouse of reserve fuel and substation for which it is necessary to provide accession to the existing power grid objects of IDGC of Siberia-GAES1 branch of JSC should be designed. Based on it accession the possibility not only external power supply of the Turquoise Katun SEZ, but also issue of electric power of the power center of the SEZ in power supply system of the region will be considered.

In addition to design of subsystems of the power center: power supply, water supply, water disposal, heating, ventilation, conditioning, gas supply and a communication network, - will be executed wiring design of connection to external networks of power supply and also survey works: engineering researches, complex ecological and archaeological inspections.
