Beltel constructed a LAN in the new body of Meditsina clinic

The Beltel system integrator announced upgrade of the local computer network (LCN) of Meditsina clinic based on solutions of Hewlett-Packard (HP) company.

"Medicine" — the private multi-profile clinic, more than 20 years rendering to patients full range of services on out-patient and stationary medical care. It is the only clinic in Russia accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) and certified according to international standards (the quality management system is certified in ISO 9001:2008), says Beltel. In 2011 the decision on upgrade of a LAN of Medicine for ensuring its compliance to high standards of activity of clinic was made. As the technical platform for new network the solution of HP company — global manufacturer of the network equipment offering product lines for creation of networks of the different size and capacity was selected. Based on the held tender the winner recognized the Beltel system integrator having successful experience of projects implementation of such level.

Specialists of Beltel executed at the scheduled time all necessary list of works on inspection, design, supply of equipment, deployment of the new local computer network with a capacity of 2 thousand ports based on network equipment of HP Networking of a line A-Series, migration of users, the medical equipment, server and other systems on new network is executed. As result, Meditsina clinic was provided modern fault-tolerant and scaled by a LAN, having all required functionality, reliability and capacity, noted in Beltel.

Within the project works on deployment of Wi-fi network with support of standard 802.11n for wireless Internet access of patients of clinic and also work on testing and the upgrade existing SCS were performed.

2013: Beltel constructed a LAN in the new body of Meditsina clinic

The Beltel system integrator announced in the fall of 2013 project completion for private multi-profile clinic "Meditsina" within which the local computer network (LCN) in the new body of clinic was built. The project is executed based on network equipment of HP, reported CNews in the system integrator.

In April, 2013 the new medical body of clinic in which there is the innovation oncological center Sofia, multi-profile diagnostic departments and a hospital on 105 beds from four smarts operating rooms opened. The area of the 12-storey building exceeds 20 thousand sq.m.

Work of the engineering systems and the medical equipment of clinic is provided by the local computer network built by Beltel company based on solutions of HP company, global manufacturer of network equipment. In 2011 the system integrator executed the similar project for the first body of clinic.

During the project specialists of Beltel execute at the scheduled time all necessary list of works on inspection, design, supply of equipment, deployment of the new local computer network with a capacity of 2 thousand ports based on network equipment of HP Networking. Deployment of Wi-fi network with support of standard 802.11n for providing wireless Internet access by patients of clinic is performed. For this purpose engineers of the system integrator carried out the radio measurements allowing to define exact quantity and arrangement of access points.

The local computer network of the new body is integrated with network of the first body of clinic. As result, Medicine received modern fault-tolerant and scaled by a LAN, having required functionality, capacity and meeting standards of clinic.
