2017: Certification of an asset management system on ISO 55001:2014

The asset management system of the Siberian Coal Energy Company (SCEC) automated based on software "Parus — Enterprise 8" is certified on compliance to the international standard ISO 55001:2014 "Asset management". On November 21, 2017 reported about it in Parus Corporation.

Base of an asset management system in SUEK is information which gathers and analyzed on all control objects. On the basis of analysis results the strategies directed to maintenance of operability of the capital equipment are developed. For ensuring efficiency and complete data transparency in the company the uniform corporate information system Parus which allows to receive any planned and actual targets, work-related the equipment and the transactions executed on it is used.

According to Parus Corporation, SUEK of the first in the CIS received the certificate of conformity to ISO 55001:2014 Asset management. Audit was booked by the international certifying authority — British Standard Institute company — in several stages and covered processes of management of capital assets regarding production and enrichment of coal. Within preparation for passing of certification not only compliance of an asset management system was estimated at SUEK to standard points, but also by 39 criteria comparison of level of its development with the analogs implemented at the enterprises of a world class was carried out. Practically on all fields of comparison an appreciation which confirms effective management of assets in the company are received.

2011: Creation of a single system of management of fixed assets

In July, 2011 it became known that in the leading Russian fuel and energy company SUEK the unified information system of management of fixed assets based on software "PARUS-Management of maintenance and repairs of the equipment" is created. Users of an automated system are about 2800 employees of 60 enterprises of SUEK in different regions of the Russian Federation.

The IT project was performed taking into account specifics of management of maintenance and repairs of the equipment in coal and power segments of business of SUEK. If accounting of fixed assets of the coal enterprises in general does not require detailed "razuzlovka", then for correct diversity of costs for repairs of nodes of a utilities equipment in a system the possibility of maintaining difficult hierarchy of the equipment on the basis of its decomposition on a large number of components was implemented. A system provides also maintaining linearly - extended assets, for example, of thermal networks with dynamic segmentation (the asset is broken into components). As a result within the geographically distributed company the problem of management of 300,000 nodes power and more than 90,000 units of the coal equipment is solved.

Costs for maintenance and repairs of the equipment are one of the main budget expenditures of the enterprises of SUEK therefore information on these costs is a subject of the careful analysis. A system gives a report generation opportunity about costs in different cuts: plan fact, by the form repair, to equipment type, types of resources, Inventories groups, accomplishment methods; and also gives the chance to analyze a cost dynamics by different criteria.

Use of an information system allowed to increase quality of planning of the repair schedule and to optimize process of their resource providing (the annual volume of the repair program of SUEK - more than 25,000 different works, the nomenclature of Inventories reaches 150,000 units). At the same time in planning process of repairs the industry specifics are also considered: in the coal direction only diagrams of repairs are used, for the power enterprises it is implemented as well the estimate principle due to the need of approval of repair costs of regulating authorities.

As a result, thanks to an automated system, the accuracy of planning of budgets on the maintenance of the equipment considerably increased, there was faster and convenient a process of approval of budgets. Specialists of the company received the instrument of operational management: a system reveals deviations from the plan in comparison with forecast values in connection with influence of different factors (for example, a change in value of the resources necessary for repair).

Accounting of an operating time of a production equipment, including automatic data transmission from a management system for motor transport and schedulings of the production block of the largest motor transportation enterprise SUEK to Leninsk-Kuznetsky is provided. Function of automatic distribution of an operating time to the technical objects which are a part of a uniform technology chain is implemented.

The problem of control of a residual service life is solved: this characteristic of an object allows to estimate a stock of its durability, to define an optimal point of replacement, to make the decision on acquisition new or continuation of service of the used equipment.

The created information system is considered in the company, first of all, as the instrument of decision support allowing not only to optimize the processes connected with repair and service of fixed assets, to provide reliability of production but also in general to increase effective management of the company.
