2018: Dream Report 4.83

On July 4, 2018 the Fiord company submitted official version 4.83 Dream Report. In version 4.83 the ability to manage queue of reports on generation appeared. This method is based on priorities. In queue of reports on generation web reports and reports on demand have a high priority, and reports on the schedule have a low priority. The user can change the values exposed by default in report settings.

The corrected errors (in comparison with version 4. 82):

• Completion of work of DR during generation of the report when using the wrong period of selection on the basis of a batch in an object with the statistical function "SQL request".
• The CSV Alarm driver driver does not write data in the internal DR database.
• When using the Citect Real time driver driver value of tags with the String type register in the DR database as a set of digital values in the column NumValue.
• It is impossible to receive values of tags of the controller when using FT Gateway OPC.
• The studio stops the work at repeated opening of the current project where the OPC AE driver is used.
• Duplication of the written data obtained via the Citect Historical driver driver using the Import of Special Archives tool.

Other improvements of the version mentioned by the developer:

• The property list of data "quality" for the WW Historian HDA Item driver driver is added.
• The IS NOT NULL filter for a request of values of data for the WW Historian HDA Item driver driver is added.
• The WW Historian HDA item driver driver uses "a safe flow" for correct accomplishment of several reports in parallel.
• The There Is No License panel instead of the There Is No License dialog is entered. The dashboard with warning is added to Studios which appear when the Studio works without license. The window with warning of use of the demonstration version which appears at start of Studio - is removed.
• The error when using the signs "slash" in names of tags for the raw, "crude" data is corrected.
• In a user interface of setup of the driver the feature to change a way for preserving of log files is added.
• To use "a safe flow"" for work, synchronization of ID of tags in a cache of the HDA item driver driver is added.
• The module of licensing and configuring of drivers for ClearSCADA is added to a distribution kit.
• The user interface is changed to support correct work at change of settings of display resolution.
• There was a possibility of the choice of the file format of CSV in setup of sending the report on e-mail.

2014: Dream Report 4.6 R3

The FIORD company (the official distributor of Dream Report - the report generator for an APCS and automation of buildings) submits the official version of the Dream Report 4.6 R3 report generator. Dream Report 4.6 R3 has a set of new features and opportunities. Already now it is possible to download the demoversion of Dream Report 4.6 R3 and Initial management for version 4.6 in Russian and also to look at the list of drivers and the Dream Report protocols. The FIORD company extends Dream Report in Russia at the special prices (for the execution environment) and within a licensing business model, very profitable to customers. Once again we will note that the development environment (Studio) Dream Report is free. The photo gallery of examples of the reports made using Dream Report, documentation is posted on the website of FIORD company, Within the business model accepted for Russia customers can purchase the license for executive systems of Dream Report depending on number of tags (including real-time data and stories) from external sources (databases, SCADA (PcVue, InTouch, WinCC, Genesys32, iFix, Citect...), controllers, via the OPC or ODBC interface) which will be used in reports, and the number of reports and internal tags is not limited. The following options are allowed: 50, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, Unlimited (unlimited number) of external tags. The full-function demoversion has the following restrictions: use period 1 year, 25 external points in the project, 30 minutes in the Runtime mode; Web the portal is resolved.

2012: Dream Report 4.0

The Fiord company (the official distributor in Russia of the Dream Report software package - the specialized report generator with a free development environment for an APCS and automation systems of buildings) announced in 2012 an exit of Dream Report 4.0. Dream Report 4.0 has the processed interface and the effective executive engine with new own database. The FIORD company extends Dream Report in Russia at the special prices (for the execution environment) and within a licensing business model, very profitable to customers. The photo gallery of examples of the reports made using Dream Report is posted on the website of FIORD company and also the estimated (demo) version and documentation are available to downloading.

From new features we will note 8 most interesting:

• Objects and functions of the power reporting (indicators on energy (warmly + electricity) / ecology (selection of a carbon dioxide gas) / to water (water consumption), statistical functions on the made/spent energy and others)
• The executive engine is executed either as service, or as the application
• Virtual copies of the report – generation of the same report for different sets of tags
• Own generation of new alarms – an opportunity to filter and display alarms by own criteria and also to use own filters for values of alarms from external sources
• Control of report versions – a unique system which can automatically build in the report the identifier of report version with a time mark, trace versions and even to do rollback on the previous saved version
• The master (wizard) of creation of the project – allows to create the simple report for several clicks in one window of the Master. Convenient means for beginning users!
• The panels of monitoring of objects allowing to display the calculated values as objects on the toolbar (for example, the level meter)
• Tools of the developer for creation of own user statistical functions

Online access to web to the portal of the Dream Report report generator allows the user to generate one of versions of the preset report templates on the basis of real-time data or background (the so-called "dynamic report") in the form of the PDF file, the file Microsoft Excel (xls-file) or the web page. The generated report can be browsed, scaled, saved on a disk or to print. Some additional options are available to users of Adobe. The user interface is supported for different languages, including for Russian.

On web the portal two report groups are preset. The first report group shows different types of reports in terms of their appearance or information type (the data table, the table of alarms, SQL tables, tables of intervals, pie or bar charts, diagrams, statistical data). The second report group shows application of Dream Report for the different industries (power, oil and gas, water supply, industrial production).
