The Webroot company announced the updated Webroot SecureAnywhere product line in October, 2011. The proposed solutions focused on consumer market are based on modern technologies of cloud computing and guarantee the fastest, reliable and effective protection against a broad spectrum of threats.

SecureAnywhere 2013

The Webroot company released in the fall of 2012 new versions of the products from the SecureAnywhere 2013 family. The line of SecureAnywhere is intended for a comprehensive protection of medium-sized and small enterprises from different IT threats and managed to prove as available and effective solution of the class.

Updating of the products SecureAnywhere happens in enviable regularity – in the previous release of this series. In the new version the Webroot company added the utility for diagnostics and cleaning of systems of excess data and components, considerably reviewed mechanisms of backup and synchronization and also implemented serious improvements in a circuit of protection against a phishing.

So, the main innovation of the SecureAnywhere 2013 series was the module System Analyser which allows to scan and study completely all system in two minutes, having issued complete diagnostic information. Using this module users can quickly erase, for example, all history of the browsed web pages, destroy all traces of remote files and make a disk space due to removal of unnecessary files. Also the updated anti-virus circuit of protection in SecureAnywhere 2013 is not ignored. The new module of USB protection saves the user from hit of malware from replaceable drives. The module offline protection provides full blocking of viruses and other malware on client computers when they are not connected to the Internet.
