MUSES City hospital No. 1 of Volgodonsk (Cisco TelePresence)

Among programs for upgrade of health care in the Russian Federation – implementation of modern information technologies in medical institutions of territorial subjects of the federation that is reflected also to the "Development and Use of Information and Telecommunication Technologies in the Rostov Region for 2010-2013" program. Creation of the telemedicine systems – the necessary stage on informatization of health care allowing to use technologies of telemedicine at diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of patients.

The Aystek system integrator (iStack) implemented the project on telemedicine for Municipal authority of health care "City hospital No. 1 " of Volgodonsk of the Rostov region. The system architecture of a video conferencing of health facilities implemented by the iStack system integrator on the basis of Cisco TelePresence Quick Set C20 allows to reach a high image quality and to provide high-quality communication at a great distance, and subscriber nodes of a system of a video conferencing allow employees and patients to participate in teleconsultations and telelectures.

The storage system of SpaceStack used in the project is intended for storage of large volumes of information and provides high rates of IOPS and capacity. The scalability and modular design do possible expansion of capacity and other functionality. A system is increased using functional units.
