The system of a business intelligence on the basis of QlikView in the company of Sandor

On October 10, 2011 announced RBC Group Ukraine creation of a system of a business intelligence on the basis of the solution QlikView for the company of Sandor which is a part of the international corporation PepsiCo. The analytical applications implemented during the project will allow management of the company to make better decisions of both operational, and strategic character.

The company of Sandor – the leader of the Ukrainian market of juice, thanks to investments of the international corporation PepsiCo which part it is from 2008th year systematically and purposefully implements the innovation projects both in production, and in the IT sphere. As the market requires adoption of fast and exact solutions taking into account a set of the factors influencing work performance indicators, management of the company needs the modern system of the business analysis.

The consulting company RBC Group proposed the solution QlikView which is ideal for the company of Sandor as allows to receive extremely quickly answers to a set of the questions connected with indicators in the field of sales has big flexibility, usability and mobility.


The pilot project which allowed the management to be convinced that a system allows to solve problems of data processing of the company surely became the first stage of implementation QlikView. At the second stage, except implementation of analytical applications of QlikView, consultations for specialists of the company of Sandor were in parallel held and it was provided training in independent development of analytical applications.

During joint work in 4 days the solution on the analysis of sales which, except standard analytical reports, included was developed:

  • the analysis on SKU containing, in particular, calculation of average number of unique SKU in a point of delivery and the average number of deliveries for the selected SKU;
  • the analysis on points – the report showing in different cuts – on sales channels, branches, supervisors and so forth, – data on the outlets which took a certain SKU set;
  • the analysis of "the obligatory list" – the report on accomplishment of the requirement of maintenance of obligatory SKU on sales channels, delivery points, agents;
  • comparison of sales – the report on comparison of sales and accomplishment of plans with previous periods in cuts of data on divisions, departments, sales channels, delivery points, etc.

Staff of the company of Sandor also got the advice necessary for independent application development on stock analysis, receivables and others.
