Cognitive Forms automated input of questionnaires in Safe Fatherland public organization

The Cognitive Technologies company announced that using the Cognitive Forms system input of questionnaires on the introduction in members of Interregional public organization of assistance to protection of the rights of citizens and security of society "Safe Fatherland" is automated.

Safe Fatherland public organization is created in 2011. Organization activity is directed to assistance to strengthening of security in the Russian Federation on the basis of interaction and cooperation of different state bodies and non-state structures of security. At the accession to the organization the citizen enters the personal data in the application questionnaire. As the number of persons interested to enter the organization is rather great, manual processing of several thousand questionnaires a month is represented a difficult task. To cope with a flow of requests, it should employ and train several operators who would be engaged only in data entry from questionnaires in bases, says Cognitive Technologies. And even the experienced operator is not insured from errors — by the end of the working day their number increases several times, fatigue and monotony of this work affects attention of the person.

Founders of the organization preferred other solution — input automation. Several systems for recognition and input of documents were considered and as a result Cognitive Forms is selected. On a response of the customer, decisive advantages of a system were recognized the minimum participation of the operator in the course of input (to place a pack of questionnaires in the scanner and to confirm results of recognition) and result accuracy. Besides, specialists of Cognitive Technologies developed the form machine-readable applications questionnaires.

Practice of application of Cognitive Forms shows that the attention of the operator is required only by 3-5% of the entered documents that allows to accelerate process of their input at 7-10 times, at the same time the level of errors does not exceed 0.4%. The Cognitive Forms system delivered in Safe Fatherland allows to scan and recognize more than 5 thousand applications questionnaires daily.
