Bashkiria upgraded a communication network based on the equipment Zelax

The Russian developer and equipment manufacturer for the Zelax data networks completed the joint project with JSC Bashinformsvyaz, the main operator of services of telecommunication in the Republic of Bashkortostan, on upgrade of a republican telephone network. The realization value of the project was more than 40 million rubles.

Upgrade of a telephone network of Bashkiria included replacement of outdated communication channels between urban and regional telephone exchanges. As a result of project implementation all regional automatic telephone exchanges in the republic are connected to city networks through package that allowed to provide a range of services on video transmission, telephone communication and Internet access within one transport network.

For the Zelax project delivered about 700 units of the TDMoP-equipment, namely the gateways MM-104 and MM-116 allowing to transfer on IP-and Ethernet-networks at the same time to 16 flows G.703/E1 and high-speed link of Ethernet thanks to what transparent transfer of TDM-and IP traffic through a single network packet switched is provided. At parallel communication of a voice and data gateways give the chance more effectively to use capacity, dynamically separating it between active express speaker circuits and traffic of Ethernet. Use of TDMoP-gateways provides preserving of capital investments in the available equipment of TDM and low expenses on implementation and operation.
