In LiveJournal the Subject Lebedev as advertizing published information on unusual Ukrainian data center of ColoCall company. In an advertizing post it is said that all data centers are measured by reliability, but ColoCall offers absolutely other rating scale. However, than ColoCall is offered to try, it is visible on the photos given below.

For the first time the virus photoshoot with the naked girls connecting the equipment in data center was released by ColoCall three years ago at start of DPC in operation. Then the company dramatized date leak and gave the comment in which it was said that "pictures were taken during the photoshoot, in the course of preparation of materials for the advertizing booklet. Any "topless" should not have been and the more so these pictures were not intended for the publication in network". However, as it appeared then, this denial was obviously not correct and too was a part of the marketing company.

The data center of ColoCall about which there is a speech is located in Kiev and differs, of course, not only "fairies" as they are called by the company, but also some other parameters. First of all, it is located in the former antinuclear bunker.

The company thought of construction of new DPC a few years ago when its old DPC and two communication platforms ceased to satisfy the growing needs of our clients. At the beginning of 2010 ColoCall got not used antiradiation shelter of the former electromechanical plant, and the preserved substation with sufficient for the power reserve and connection to two independent 10-kilovoltage trunks. During 2010 the shelter was the new data center on 100 racks is rebuilt, repaired and is completely equipped.

Two levels of reservation are used for the organization of uninterrupted power of data center. The first - building block system on the basis of UPS APC Galaxy 5000. With its help the company provides consumers of electricity with a power up to 300 kVA using 4 independent 100 kilowadded power blocks which are switched on in parallel. A system in itself contains one add-on standby unit if necessary getting into gear.

The second level - diesel power station of Cummins Power with a power of 440 kVA which gets into gear independently at loss of the main power supply. Exit time in an operating mode and connections to network does not exceed 1-2 minutes during which everything loading bears on itself UPS APC Galaxy 5000. The second diesel power station of SDMO J132K will be used for a separate power supply of the cooling system at achievement of filling of the data-center for 70-80%.

The cooling system with a settlement power up to 500 kilowatts (at necessary 300) is organized in such a way that the reserve as on performance and in number of power units is provided. A power part of coolers is constructed on the TEKO compressors (Germany). In total in a system about 6 chillers in each of which independently of each other can work it is set on two compressors working both in turn and if necessary together.

The internal part of a system implemented based on the equipment Guentner AG&Co.KG (Germany) allows at any moment, if necessary to redistribute cooling capacities in different parts of server, to exclude from work of a part of a system for carrying out repair and scheduled maintenance without stopping and any damage of efficiency. The stock of system performance of cooling and the scheme of its implementation allows to provide with cold communication racks and cabinets about consumption to 10 kilowatts.

Solutions of network infrastructure are traditionally implemented on the equipment of Cisco and Extreme-networks companies. In general the data-center is ready in placement about 100 open racks or server cabinets, apart from the certain premises where installation of 8-10 more racks or cabinets is possible.
